The Bachelor season 22 finale promises to be one of the most dramatic episodes in the history of the show, but Arie says he’s really happy with the outcome.

The Bachelor Arie Luyendyk’s season will come to a close on March 5 and we can’t wait to find out if all of the rumors about the finale are true. Although spoilers point to Arie having a change of heart with his final pick, there are a few things we know for sure — he is not engaged, but he is very happy with how things played out.

Three months have passed since Arie handed out his final rose in Peru. A lot has happened since then, but The Bachelor star seems to be totally cool with the way things went down. How can he be happy when he caused so much heartbreak? Here’s the scoop … [Spoilers ahead]

On Monday, February 26, the overnight dates episodes will air on ABC. Although one girl will go home, it won’t be the most dramatic episode of the season. After all, we all knew in our hearts Kendall wouldn’t get Arie’s final rose. She needs a guy who isn’t creeped out by her taxidermy obsession – maybe she’ll meet him in Paradise this summer?

Becca vs Lauren B.

Arie pulls a Ben Higgins and tells both Becca and Lauren B. he’s in love with them.

Did he learn anything from Ben’s experience with saying, “I love you” to two women?

He had to know this would backfire!

So, here we go again with the final rose ceremony struggle.

Arie will be torn about who to pick.

Becca was very vocal about how she felt about Arie. Lauren spent the whole season whispering about her relationship fears.

He went with the safe choice — Becca.

Ex-boyfriends and bad decisions

But first, she has to face her ex-boyfriend, Ross Jirgl, who travels to Peru to try to get her back. As if producers didn’t set that up…

Becca turns Ross down and says, “yes” to Arie’s proposal. Silly girl.

At this point, Becca probably wishes she told Arie she didn’t want to marry a guy who goes to bed at 8 p.m. and wears grandpa cardigans. She was under Arie’s love spell for some odd reason. Weird, considering she dated him for about 7 hours before they got engaged.

Regrets…

Two months after Arie and Becca got engaged in Peru, he decided he didn’t want to be engaged anymore. Of course, cameras were there to record him taking Becca’s ring back. And yes, that’s Becca crying in the background in the Bachelor finale preview video (below).

Poor girl. She didn’t even get to keep the ring.

And if Arie’s face looks a little blank during their breakup, maybe it’s because he doesn’t fare well when people cry. Or at least that’s what his ex-girlfriend said.

Arie is very happy

More from Accept This Rose

After ripping Becca’s heart out, Arie traveled to Virginia to visit Lauren B. and her parents.

And yes, cameras recorded it all because they need to show a happy ending on the After the Final Rose special that airs after the final rose ceremony.

Arie tells E! News he is “very happy” with the outcome of the show and the “journey was totally worth it.”

He could not reveal that he started dating Lauren B. right after breaking off his engagement to Becca because he has to keep it a big secret ’til the finale airs on March 5.

Engaged again!!?

Now we’re hearing that Arie and Lauren got engaged last weekend at the same place Jade and Tanner didl — not confirmed, but that’s absolutely nuts if it’s true.

And that’s what Caroline Lunny was talking about when she said “I know what you did” during the Women Tell All.

Arie will claim this was his journey and he’s happy. But count on this — Bachelor fans will NOT be happy when they watch the finale.

The big question is — why didn’t Arie stay single and tell both girls he wasn’t sure? It could be because producers wanted a dramatic ending.

All at Becca’s expense…

Let’s hope Lauren doesn’t get burned, too.
