The DWTS finale is going to be a long one tonight, December 5!

It feels like this season of Dancing with the Stars only just started, yet we’ve somehow reached the DWTS finale already! Tonight, the final couples will make history in the biggest finale event Dancing with the Stars has ever seen!

For the first time in the history of the show, there will be five couples competing as part of the season 32 finale, this following a surprise non-elimination round during the semifinals show.

Tonight’s Dancing with the Stars finale is three hours long!

This Tuesday night, DWTS season 32 comes to a close as the five final couples take to the ballroom in hopes of taking home the Len Goodman Mirrorball Trophy and becoming the latest winners of ABC’s long-running series!

Unlike most episodes which are two hours, Dancing with the Stars will be taking over ABC’s primetime lineup this Tuesday night with a three-hour finale event which will kick off at 8/7c on ABC. Instead of the episode wrapping at 10/9c as usual, tonight’s finale will wrap up around 11/10c as a new winner is crowned.

Thanks to Bachelor Nation, that winner could very well end up being Charity Lawson who has secured her place in tonight’s finale and is looking to become the third Bachelor Nation alum to win the show!

Five couples remain on DWTS: Here’s who is still in the competition

After eleven weeks of competition, only five couples remain in the hunt for the Mirrorball Trophy and it really is anyone’s game!

Alyson and Pasha are definitely the underdogs heading into the finale as the lowest-scoring couple, but could that be their secret weapon as there is nothing DWTS fans love more than an underdog story!

As for the rest of the pack, the four remaining couples have been neck and neck all season long. Each of the four other finalists have enjoyed considerable success over the season and often rank at the top of the judges’ leaderboard with their scores. There is no telling which couple could walk away victorious but no matter who wins, each of the couples have a lot to be proud of!

Seeing Charity in particular shine this season has been so much fun! Our reigning Bachelorette has been lighting up the ballroom all season long with amazing performances and her incredible energy. We’d love to see her end her Dancing with the Stars journey by taking home the Mirrorball with Artem!

Fans will not want to miss tonight’s finale event! Over the course of the three-hour episode, the final five couples will all take to the ballroom to compete with their final dances of the season. The final rounds of competition will include the freestyles which are always a highlight of the season as the couples are given create freedom with their choreography.

It’s unclear how the eliminations will occur, but there is a good chance we’ll see eliminations happening over the course of the evening as the Final 5 is narrowed down to the Final 2! Of course, we know the winner won’t be announced until the very end of the night so be sure to stick around until the end so you don’t miss the results we’ve been waiting for!
