Clay Harbor gave back his group date rose and left The Bachelorette on episode 3. Now the NFL player is talking about his time on the show and what’s next…

When Clay Harbor left The Bachelorette on the third episode, fans were totally bummed out. After all, the NFL player is a total sweetheart — low on the drama, easy on the eyes.

During an interview with Good Morning Football Today (watch video below) Clay talked about walking out of the limo, the friendships he made on the show, and what’s next for the 30-year-old NFL star. (Paradise!?) Oh, and he spills some details about the season finale!

More from Accept This Rose

Clay says since filming wrapped, he’s hung out with a few guys from the show.

He also reveals the guys have a group text — we’d love to get in that text group and get a little dirt about the show!

Although he doesn’t spoil the outcome of the show (that’s a contract no-no), Clay confirms he knows what happened when the Bachelorette finale was filmed in the Maldives in May.

Becca has already confirmed she got engaged during the final rose ceremony, but it looks like it’s going to be another cry-fest.

Clay says the finale it will be the most dramatic season (finale) ever.

Wait … did Chris Harrison tell him to say that?

Is Clay Paradise bound?

Clay said his group date injury is healing well and he’s looking forward to getting back on the field soon. But, first … Paradise?

He doesn’t mention that he’s joining the cast of Bachelor in Paradise, but there is speculation that he’s one of several guys from Becca’s season who will appear on the show.

Filming started last week and a slew of contestants (including this guy who was spotted lounging by a pool) are already in Mexico.

Even if Clay does not appear on the Paradise premiere, there’s a good chance he may show at some point in the season. After all, NFL pre-season training camp typically starts in July, so he has plenty of time to find love in Paradise (filming wraps in June).

Bachelor in Paradise season 5 is expected to premiere right after Bachelorette Becca’s season finale in early August.
