Next Bachelorette Becca Kufrin — ‘filming begins in two weeks’
By Ruby Maxwell
Bachelor fans thought Tia Booth was next in the line for the Bachelorette gig, but it looks like Becca Kufrin will be handing out roses in May.
When Tia Booth appeared on the Women Tell All, it seemed like Chris Harrison was setting her up to become the next Bachelorette. Now there’s word that producers have already started filming an intro video in Minnesota where Becca Kufrin lives. Filming reportedly starts two weeks after the Bachelor finale.
There’s no doubt Tia will appear on Bachelor in Paradise this summer, so fans will still get to see her (hopefully) find love. But, considering Becca is involved in one of the most mind-boggling season finales in Bachelor history, we’re thrilled she’ll get another shot at finding a really GOOD guy. Here’s the scoop…
Every season, the top four girls have the best shot at getting the Bachelorette gig. On Ben Higgins‘ season, his runner-up (JoJo) got the lead. One year later, it was Rachel Lindsay, who went home after the overnight dates on Nick Viall’s season.

When Arie eliminated Tia after hometowns, many fans assumed she would be next in line to hand out roses. Her sit-down with Chris Harrison hinted at that, too. He asked Tia if she was open to finding love and she had all the right answers. It looks like that’s not going to happen, but Tia did say that she’s open to joining the Bachelor in Paradise cast this summer.
Becca deserves a room full of roses
Even if you have been keeping up with the spoilers this season, you may not know exactly what went down between Becca and Arie after the finale.
Arie and Becca got engaged, but he broke it off — with cameras rolling — in mid-January. And there’s more…
Find a detailed timeline of events here to see what happened next, including a report that points to Arie proposing to runner-up Lauren B. last weekend.

“I’ve always said Becca will have all of America behind her, she has the best built-in storyline of any previous contestant going into the Bachelorette, and the only way she wouldn’t get the gig is if she didn’t want it,” Reality Steve writes.
Becca appeared to be very genuine during her time on the Bachelor.
If the reports are true and she is indeed the 2018 Bachelorette, let’s hope they set her up with some great guys who are looking for love, not fame.
