Tia talks about becoming the next Bachelorette after getting dumped by Bachelor Arie

Tia Booth didn’t expect to get dumped by Bachelor Arie Luyendyk after their hometown date, but now she’s ready to move on.

It was a heartbreaking moment watching Tia Booth’s elimination after hometown dates. On Sunday, she’ll come face-to-face with Arie Luyendyk Jr on The Bachelor Women Tell All, but their reunion will be much easier than the moment that he sent her home.

Three months have passed since Tia left the Bachelor in tears. Now the physical therapist from Wiener, Arkansas is talking about her next move — one that may include a return to TV. Bachelorette Tia, anyone?

Tia’s a great catch

There’s been a buzz about Tia Booth becoming the next Bachelorette since Arie’s season premiered in January. She’s close friends with Raven Gates (Bachelor in Paradise), so she has an “in” with producers.

Raven is down-to-earth, smart, beautiful, and hilarious. She’d be fun to watch.

After her departure from the Bachelor, Tia told Entertainment Tonight that she’s open to becoming the 2018 Bachelorette.

“I think it would be another learning and growing experience. Thirty years from now, I don’t want to say, ‘I turned that down because I was scared and nervous.'”

We’d love to see Tia hand out roses. But…

Tia may get passed over for The Bachelorette gig, thanks to Arie

Many fans support the idea of Tia becoming the next Bachelorette. However, the outcome of Arie’s season may prompt producers to go in a different direction.

(Season finale spoilers ahead)

Last month, Becca Kufrin posted some sad stuff about love on her Instagram story. According to Reality Steve, she got engaged to Arie during the finale, but he broke it off in mid-January.

Cameras were there to record the breakup. Then the crew traveled with Arie to Virginia to film his reunion with runner-up Lauren B. They aren’t engaged, but they are dating.

It will all play out on the season finale. We’ll see Becca in tears when Arie takes her ring back. (Why couldn’t they let her keep it as compensation?!) And we’ll see Lauren take Arie back even though he ditched her during the final rose ceremony.

Now that Becca is single, producers may feel that she deserves another shot at love by giving her the 2018 Bachelorette gig. She’d have a great storyline, that’s for sure.

Is she a good pick for the gig so soon after her split with Arie?

We need to wait to see how she reacts to the whole engagement disaster to get a better feel for her readiness to become the Bachelorette.

What about Tia?

If she isn’t picked to become the 2018 Bachelorette, Tia told Entertainment Tonight that she would “love to be in Paradise” to “continue on this Bachelor journey.”

Whatever happens, it’s clear Tia Booth will be back on TV at some point this year. Hopefully, she can find a great guy like her friend Raven did.
