Bachelor Arie’s ex says he won’t marry Lauren unless this happens

The Bachelor Arie Luyendyk Jr plans to marry Lauren Burnham this summer, but Arie’s ex-girlfriend has something to say about that.

Almost one month after Arie dumped Becca and proposed to his runner-up, Lauren Burnham, the couple is on their way to Arizona where they will move in together.

They recently confirmed they plan to get married in August or September, but one of Arie’s exes explains why that may won’t happen.

After a trip to Iceland and Barcelona, the couple made a pit stop at visit Lauren’s family in Virginia. On Thursday, they shared via an Instagram story that they road tripping their way to Arie’s Arizona home.

Giustina Lee, who dated The Bachelor on-and-off for four years, is highly doubtful Arie and Lauren will get married — unless ABC foots the bill for a TV wedding.

Arie’s ex-girlfriend says he’s a better friend than a lover

Giustina recently talked to the Daily Mail and shared some details about her relationship with Arie.

She says she last hooked up with Arie before he started filming the Bachelorette and had no idea he took the gig.

Giustina also states that Arie called her in December, around the time he broke up with Becca. She didn’t answer his call.

Although she felt he “played games” during their relationship, she’s not angry.

Instead, Giustina says he’s a nice guy and she hopes his relationship with Lauren works out.

But…(and there’s always a but…)

Giustina says she’s “not holding her breath” that Arie’s relationship with Lauren will end in marriage.

Although she hopes he does, Giustina says she thinks Arie will end up “backing out of the relationship” unless ABC films the wedding for a TV special.

“I don’t think he will end up marrying Lauren, [but] I hope he does. I think Arie will end up backing out of their relationship. I know his pattern in relationships. The only chance she has of marrying him is if they film it.”

Giustina goes on to say that she has no hard feelings, but hopes Lauren will “be careful” and if she feels something not right, to follow her intuition.

Well, we shall see what happens between Arie and Lauren. Right now, they look really happy…
