Tia’s brother calls Bachelor Arie a playboy, sets Tia up to become next Bachelorette

When Tia’s brother calls Bachelor Arie a playboy, it’s a throwback to Sean Lowe dumping Desiree during hometowns. We know exactly where this storyline is going.

Arie has to send one girl home after hometowns on Monday night, but Tia’s brother, and the show’s producers, may help him make what appears to be a gut-wrenching decision. Could it be Bachelor producers had other plans for Tia? If so, those plans may end up backfiring due to a twist in the finale.

Remember Sean Lowe’s season of the Bachelor? Desiree Hartsock’s brother, Nate, apparently played a big part in her elimination from the show after he called Sean a “playboy.” And here we go again with the playboy line — the same thing will happen when Arie sits down with Tia’s brother during their hometown date. (video below)

Desiree’s brother was a tough guy on Sean’s season. This time, it’s Tia’s brother who acts like he’s going to beat the living crap out of The BachelorEye roll.

Her brother claims that he hasn’t always been there for Tia, but he’s going to make sure she doesn’t marry Arie if his playboy reputation is for real. Blah, blah, blah.

Tough guy? We’re not buying it!

Somehow, we think Bachelor producers coerce family members into acting like tough guys durin hometowns.

And what’s with the playboy line? Is that all producers can come up with?

“Tia means the world to me,” Tia’s brother tells Arie during hometowns. “I haven’t always been there for her … heard somethings about you heard you are a playboy … the kissing bandit … how can you prove to me that it’s not who you are?”

Granted, Arie does have a kind of playboy-ish reputation when it comes to dating.

Still, producers seem to have ulterior motives.

From day one, it seems like Tia stuck around producers wanted her to become the next Bachelorette.

We can’t imagine her with Arie long term. After all, he didn’t even get her wiener joke during the season premiere!

The whole thing sounds an awful lot like Desiree’s story, doesn’t it?

There’s no doubt that Tia’s brother put some doubt in Arie’s mind when he had to choose a girl to eliminate after the hometown dates.

And that’s exactly what Desiree’s brother, Nate did during Sean’s season.

There’s just one problem!

Spoiler alert!

Whether he made his decision due to producers or Tia’s brother, Arie dumps Tia during the hometown dates rose ceremony.

When we found out she was eliminated, we were totally on board with Tia becoming the next Bachelorette.

Then Arie did something to mess up her chances — he dumped his final pick and is now dating this season’s runner-up.

There’s word that when after broke off the engagement, the girl with the broken heart moved into first place in the race to become the 2018 Bachelorette.

So, what’s in it for Tia?

We’re positive she can find a great guy without going on TV. But, if the Bachelorette gig doesn’t work out, what about Bachelor in Paradise? We’d love to see Tia find a guy who appreciates a wiener jokes!
