Bachelor Winter Games: Ashley I. loses her virginity, but her hookup may lead to regrets
By Ruby Maxwell
Ashley Iaconetti finally put her love for Jared behind her, but there may be trouble ahead with the guy she hooked up with on Bachelor Winter games.
If you think Arie’s season of the Bachelor is boring, get ready for ABC’s new spinoff, Winter Games. Spoilers point to a love triangle that doesn’t include Dean, plenty of drama, and then there’s Ashley I. who reportedly gives up her V-card to a guy who may be there for the wrong reasons. [Warning: Spoilers ahead]
Fans who aren’t familiar with the first spinoff, Bachelor Pad, should binge watch a season or two — Winter Games is going to be more like the Pad than Paradise. And for that, we’re thankful because contestants will have to compete in various sports to get date cards. Although there isn’t any prize money, the drama sounds like it will be better than ever.
Ashley, Ashley, Ashley…
Ashley is one of 26 Bachelor Winter Games contestants who compete in various Olympic-like sports to win date cards. Jared Haibon won’t be on the show, so Ashley won’t spend the season obsessing over him. Or at least until things don’t work out with the guy she fell for when the show was filmed in December.
Keep in mind, filming took about two weeks — enough time to find the man of your dreams? Maybe. But, there’s reason to believe the guy she coupled up with has ulterior motives — like becoming the next star of The Bachelor Canada.
Kevin Wendt appeared on the first season of Bachelorette Canada and won Jasmine Lorimer’s final rose. They broke off their engagement after five months, with ET Canada reporting the former couple “differences and distance” as the reasons for their split.
What do you do when your engagement ends? Head to Bachelor Winter Games to get your face back on TV, of course.
Is Kevin Wendt a total snake? You be the judge!
According to Reality Steve, Ashley I is “immediately attracted” to Kevin when they meet on the Winter Games premiere. But first, she has to go up against Bibiana (Arie’s season) to win his heart.
Bibiana is new to the franchise, so it’s a no-brainer that Kevin would want to go for someone who has made a name for themselves in Bachelor Nation. If the spoilers are correct, he ditches Bibiana for a more seasoned contestant — Ashley I.
And let’s not forget — Ashley’s virgin story was the center of attention on the Bachelor (Chris Soules) and in Paradise. Kevin will become one of the most talked about guys on Winter Games if she gives up her virginity to him.
And she does.
Ashley’s love story may not end well…

Although the teasers for the first season of Bachelor Winter Games show Ashley I. crying, she won’t leave the show in tears. Apparently, she and Kevin are crowned the “winners.”
And no, there isn’t an engagement. Instead, they continued to date after the show. However, Steve says Ashley is totally into Kevin but he’s not so into her.
But he’ll probably play it up until the Winter Games Tell-All that will air after the February 22 finale when Chris Harrison will put him on the spot about his relationship with Ashley.
“She ends up being the winner, and her relationship with Kevin from Canada takes front and center,” Steve writes. “They are a couple now … but it’s been reported to me that Kevin’s sole intention of doing this show was to be the next Bachelor Canada. And if not that, he just wants fame, he wants notoriety, and he was strictly looking to hook up with whatever girl in the house would garner him the most attention.”
Steve goes on to say the focal point of the Winter Games Tell All is to get Kevin to admit he loves Ashley and want to commit to her. Sources tell Steve that Kevin is “not” going to admit that, so don’t expect a proposal.
"“That’s what the after show will most surely focus on. I’m being told this guy was strictly out to get more famous, and he knew by hooking up with Ashley, that’d get people talking about him. The virginity thing is gonna get a ton of run now, and it’s almost like if this guy doesn’t commit to her at the “Tell All” taping next Friday, he’s gonna come across as a complete douche.”"
Get ready for some super-sized drama. The Bachelor Winter Games begins at 8 p.m. ET on Tuesday, February 13 on ABC.
