Becca had a great first date with Bachelor Arie, but things didn’t go quite as well off camera, despite spoilers that point to a happily-ever-after.
Love was in the air between Becca K. and Arie during their first one-on-one date. And let’s just say this —at least she got free Louboutins and a bunch of fancy dresses because the diamond ring she received on the finale is headed back to Neil Lane. The final rose ceremony was taped months ago, but her heartbreak is more recent.
Although some of were rumblings before the season started that Arie was a bit of a player, Becca seemed smitten right from the start. She appears to be one of the most genuine girls on the show. We had no doubts she was there for the right reasons, unlike some contestants who are looking to promote their business, not find love.
When the season got underway on January 1, Reality Steve confirmed that Becca got engaged to Arie during the final rose ceremony. He also reported that Becca’s ex-boyfriend showed up and proposed to her. She chose Arie. Ugh.
Two months later, Arie broke off his engagement to Becca last week. He was spotted at his runner-up, Lauren Burnham‘s parent’s house days after he broke up with Becca.
Bachelor producers were with Arie and Lauren, so we will see this all play out on the After the Final Rose. There’s now word that Arie proposed to Lauren in late February — she said yes.

Becca and Arie got engaged in November when filming wrapped in Peru. Over the past few days, she has been dropping hints via Instagram stories that things aren’t going so well in the love department. Stories disappear after 24-hours — here are some screenshots. (And, yes, Becca, pets will never let you down!)
Bachelor fans slam Arie
Fans are coming out en mass to let her know they support her. There are also quite a few “you’re better off” comments on Becca’s Instagram.
