Bachelor in Paradise reunion: Here’s what to expect on the Paradise season finale

The Bachelor in Paradise finale will air on September 11. Season 4 will wrap up with a reunion show that was taped in L.A. in August.

This season of Bachelor in Paradise is one of the worst in the history of the show. So much time was spent rehashing the DeMario-Corinne situation, the guys and girls who were actually looking for love had to do so at warped speed.

We’re not sure there’s a single couple in Paradise who has a chance to make it in the real world. However, we are about to find out how it all turned out for the couples who made it to the finale. The Bachelor in Paradise reunion show was taped on August 30 and will air after the September 11 finale. Here’s what we know so far…

There were rumors early in the season that the reunion show would air live, similar to After Paradise last season. On Tuesday, Reality Steve confirmed the show was taped in front of a studio audience on August 30, almost two weeks before the finale.

Because the show will not be live, spoilers are already leaking out online. However, there aren’t any shocking revelations, just updates about the couples who made it to the finale. Yawn.

We’re not 100 percent sure about this, but we hope Dean was there to apologize to Kristina talk about his love triangle. And it’s likely we’ll see Robby and Amanda show up to tell everyone they’ve teamed up to influence social media. (Marriage? Nah.)

We also expect the next Bachelor announcement to happen during the reunion show because they’ve been dragging it out on social media for FAR too long.

Spoilers ahead

Spoilers point to three couples making it to the season finale. Derek and Taylor, Adam and Raven, and Daniel and Lacey are the couples who take Chris up on his offer to shack up in the Paradise Fantasy Suite.

They all leave the show in a relationship but no one gets engaged. Maybe Neil Lane is tired of lending his diamonds out to couples who have no zero of getting married. They really should switch to cubic zirconia. Cheaper.

Derek and Taylor got engaged during the reunion show. Because every relationship should start with the guy telling the girl he loves, “F**k, you.” That was awkward.

We’re not sure if Derek told Taylor that he dumped Olivia Caridi (from Ben’s season) before he joined the Paradise cast. And Derek’s reason for breaking up with Olivia makes us uneasy about his relationship with Taylor.

Daniel recently appeared on Million Dollar Matchmaker and reminded us how obsessed he is with himself. Last week, Daniel was on Instagram Live and confirmed he never slept with Lacey. We assume their made-for-TV relationship ended when cameras stopped rolling.

There is speculation that Raven is still dating Adam — we’ll get an update during the reunion show. Odds of them getting married? Zero, in my opinion. Don’t count Raven out as a top contender for the 2018 Bachelorette.

Watch Bachelor in Paradise on Monday and Tuesday nights at 8 p.m. ET on ABC.
