Who arrives next on Bachelor in Paradise and who will leave Mexico without a rose? Here’s what to expect in the episodes that lead to up to the season finale.
A total of 32 guys and girls are trying to find love on the fourth season of Bachelor in Paradise, but only three couples leave Mexico in a relationship. There will be more drama than romance this season and one big first we will explain below. Before the season finale , seven more contestants will arrive in Paradise and will test the strength of existing relationships.
Can’t wait to find out what happens? Here’s the low-down on the arrivals and rose ceremony eliminations for the remainder of the season, starting with Week 3 (August 28-29) and ending with the two-night Bachelor in Paradise season finale that is expected to air September 11 and 12.
Keep in mind, the rose ceremonies are often carried on to the next episode (or the next week), so it’s difficult to tell which week the eliminations will take place. To make it easier, we’ll break things down by rose ceremonies.
The second rose ceremony will take place on the episode that airs on Monday, August 28. After that, the timing isn’t clear, especially because part of the August 29 episode will feature Corinne Olympios‘ sit-down with Chris Harrison. Seriously, enough about Corinne and DeMario. Can we move on?
Second Rose Ceremony (One Guy Arrives)
Daniel Maguire (BiP 3, JoJo Fletcher’s season) arrives just in time for the cocktail party and, shortly after that, Matt decides to leave. We’re not sure what prompted Matt to leave Paradise, but he will come back briefly to give Jasmine a rose.
Two girls will leave without a rose — Alexis Water and Sarah Vendal.
The following contestants move on to the third round of dates and the next rose ceremony — Jack, Christen, Robby, Amanda, Diggy, Dominique, Dean, Kristina, Ben Z., DLo, Adam, Raven, Derek, Taylor, Daniel, and Lacey.
Third Rose Ceremony (More Guys Arrive)
Three more guys arrive, all from JoJo’s season — Jonathan “Tickle Monster” Treece, Fred Johnson, and the oh-so-annoying Blake Elarbee.
Christen goes on two dates (Jonathan and Blake). Fred goes on a date with Dominique and, of course, Robby and Amanda go somewhere to talk about influencing people on social media.
At some point, three more ladies arrive in Paradise— twins Haley and Emily Ferguson (BiP 3, Ben Higgins’ season), and Jaimi King (Nick’s season). Many of the remaining contestants are already in a relationship, so bringing three girls on this late in the season was a total waste of time.
Jaimi goes on a date with Diggy. The twins get ready to go on a double date with Jonathan and Jack. Reality Steve‘s spoilers point to Jack backing out of the date at the last minute. The twins get mad and leave the show.
The Dean-DLo-Kristina love triangle continues. Before the third rose ceremony, Kristina apparently decides she’s had enough drama and leaves the show. Dean stays with DLo because, well, he enjoys being on TV and being this season’s two-timer. Honestly, he’d make a terrible Bachelor based on what we’ve seen in Paradise.
Ben Zorn leaves before the rose ceremony.
Ladies give out roses this week. That means two guys go home without a rose. Fred and Blake are eliminated and no one is shocked that they didn’t find love in Paradise.
Sixteen contestants remain — Taylor, Derek, Raven, Adam, Lacey, Daniel, Jasmine, Jonathan, Amanda, Robby, Dominique, Diggy, DLo, Dean, Christen, and Jack.
Finale (September 11)

There isn’t a rose ceremony during the final episode.
Instead, Chris Harrison offers overnight dates to any couples who would like to shack up. He also gives them the option to go home as a couple or part ways immediately.
Three couples decide to take Chris up on his fantasy suite date offer — Derek and Taylor, Adam and Raven, and Daniel and Lacey.
Amanda and Robby go home separately but are apparently still dating, although it appears that he’s in no rush to move in (like Josh). They aren’t living together and he hasn’t met Amanda’s kids yet.
Jasmine and Jonathan, and Christen and Jack end their brief “relationships” and leave single and ready to mingle.
Diggy can’t decide whether to date Dominique or Jaimi, so he leaves alone.
Dean leaves without DLo after telling her he loves Kristina. Apparently, he has dated both girls since the finale was filmed but he’s not serious about either girl.
Engagements and Reunion Show
No one got engaged when the finale was taped in July. At least the contestants had some common sense this season. That’s the big “first” mentioned above. For better or for worse, there’s always been an engagement at the end of each season.
The three remaining couples —Derek and Taylor, Adam and Raven, and Daniel and Lacey —leave the most boring season of Bachelor in Paradise ever in a relationship.
The Bachelor in Paradise reunion show was taped August 30 and will air after the finale. (September 11)
Derek proposed to Taylor during the reunion show. Is anyone excited about them? I wonder if Taylor knows Derek dumped Olivia Caridi (Ben’s season) to join the Paradise cast?
We’re predicting Daniel and Lacy won’t make it far — if you watched Daniel on Million Dollar Matchmaker you’ll know why.
And Adam and Raven? The jury is still out on that relationship but I’m thinking we may see her as the next Bachelorette.
Watch Bachelor in Paradise on Monday and Tuesday nights at 8 pm ET on ABC.
