Josh Murray scores another reality TV gig, but he’s looking for love off-camera

The Bachelor franchise is a thing of the past for Josh Murray, but that doesn’t mean he’s sitting around waiting for love to walk through his front door.

Josh Murray hasn’t had much luck when it comes to finding love on TV. Still, after two broken engagements, he hasn’t given up on trying to find Mrs. Right. And he hasn’t ended his reality TV career either, but you won’t see him on Bachelor in Paradise this summer.

This time, dating and TV won’t go hand-in-hand. Josh is looking for love off-camera and his upcoming appearance on an MTV reality show isn’t about finding the girl of his dreams.

The Challenge

Well, yeah, finding love is a challenge. It’s also the name of an MTV reality show. After appearing on ABC’s The Bachelorette and Bachelor in Paradise, and E!’s Famously Single, Josh isn’t keeping his latest venture a secret — he revealed in a recent Instagram story that he’s in L.A. filming a new TV series.

While the cast list has yet to be confirmed by MTV, Vevmo recently leaked photos of The Challenge cast and Josh is part of the cast. The lineup is a mix of reality TV celebs and athletes, prompting speculation that the 31st season of the competition series will be called The Challenge: All Stars.

What about dating?

Josh recently partnered Hinge, the dating app that’s getting some attention from several contestants from the Bachelor franchise, including Ashley Iaconetti and Jared Haibon.

Maybe he finally realized that proposing on TV after going on 3-4 dates isn’t working for him. And hey, his ex, Amanda Stanton was using the app before she went on Bachelor in Paradise. Maybe they’ll find each other again?

Not a chance. Josh tells Us Weekly his relationship is in the past and he’s thankful Amanda is dating Robby Hayes and wishes them well.

Well, actually he said he is “thankful because I’m not getting hit up all the time on my phone about things that are just insane,” but let’s not go there right now.

If you are using Hinge, you may stumble across Josh’s profile. Maybe you’ll find out something new about him.

We know he loves pizza and doesn’t fare well in a hot climate. He’s a pretty sweaty dude, but hey, it happens. And he loves dogs. So, despite the crazy drama that went down with Amanda (we’re not taking sides), anyone who loves dogs earns bonus points.

And there’s another thing we know about Josh after watching him talking about his online dating profile in the videos below — he needs to loosen up. It’s not a casting call, Josh. It’s dating. Have fun, good luck, and don’t marry the first girl you date.
