Amanda Stanton left ‘Bachelor in Paradise’ with a boyfriend, but there’s a twist

Amanda Stanton didn’t walk away from Bachelor in Paradise season 4 with an engagement ring, but she did snag herself a boyfriend — for the wrong reasons?

Filming for Bachelor in Paradise wrapped up last week and Amanda Stanton returned home to her two little girls. Although there was no man in sight when TMZ spotted her at the airport (video below), she did make a love connection with Robby Hayes in Paradise. Or is it a business arrangement?

Considering Robby Hayes recently hung out with Amanda’s ex, Josh Murray, it’s hard to imagine Amanda and Robby are destined for marriage. But they are reportedly dating after meeting in Paradise. So much for Amanda’s claim that she was going back on the show for “fun” and “to make friends.” Can’t you have fun and make friends without going on TV? Let’s talk about Robby and Amanda and where their relationship is headed.

First thing’s first — Robby and Josh

In April, Robby hung out with Josh at a movie premiere. His roommate Chase McNary was there, too. And it wasn’t the first time they got together.

Robby and Josh hung out together at a viewing party for the Bachelor (Nick) season finale in March. They posted their bro pics on Instagram and it looked like they were having a great time.

At the time, Josh told Too Fab that he was trying to work things out with Amanda.

We all know how that went.

Now she’s dating Robby after spending about 14 days with him filming Paradise. Insert eye roll here.

What’s next for Amanda and Robby?

We’re going to go out on a limb here and say wedding bells are not in their future. But, as a couple, they could bring in some serious cash. Here’s why…

According to Reality Steve, Amanda and Robby did not get engaged on the finale, but they are dating. They both live in the L.A. area, so distance isn’t an issue.

Whether Robby got the a-ok from Josh to date Amanda is unknown, but the whole love connection thing doesn’t sound right.

Last week, Steve alluded to at least one couple who may have planned their whole get together in Paradise before they went to Mexico. He didn’t name names.

It sounds a little far-fetched for someone to plan a relationship, but what about a business relationship? Get fans to applaud your love story, start posting cute couple pics on Instagram after the Paradise finale, and then …. cue the cash windfall with product endorsements.

There’s no doubt Amanda Stanton does very well selling Sugar Bear hair vitamins, teeth whitener, and anything else she’s paid to promote online.

And Robby isn’t shy when it comes to pimping products on social media. Let’s not forget — he just started a company, Leisureletics, with his roommate Chase McNary. Will Amanda be modeling their yoga pants in the coming weeks?

Would it be a shocker to find out that Amanda and Robby got together to promote their brands?

After all, love sells.

And everyone wants to see Amanda happy after her fallout with Robby’s buddy, Josh, right?

But how believable is their relationship? In April, Robby told Us Weekly he was “pushing back” on his relationship with MTV star Kathryn Palmer “just in case” he got called to go to Paradise. He did get the call. And now he’s dating Amanda. Hmm.

It will be interesting to see if Robby talks trash about Josh during the upcoming season of Bachelor in Paradise. Chances are, he won’t. He’s a smooth talker and always seems to be careful with his words.

What are your thoughts about Robby and Amanda? The real deal or is it all for show?

Bachelor in Paradise is scheduled to premiere August 8 at 8 p.m. ET on ABC.
