Ben Higgins dishes on Lauren’s new guy, becoming the Bachelor again
By Ruby Maxwell
Now that Ben Higgins ex, Lauren Bushnell is cozying up to another guy, he may have another shot at finding love as the star of the Bachelor 2018.
Bachelor star Ben Higgins found his “person” and lost her all within one year. Now the former Bachelor star is faced with Lauren Bushnell’s very public admission that she’s crazy for another guy. From Instagram to Snapchat, Ben’s ex is making it clear that she has no interest in reuniting with the Ben.
Just two month after their breakup, Ben is now talking about how he felt when he learned Lauren was in a new relationship. He also addresses the possibility of becoming the Bachelor — again. And host Chris Harrison isn’t downplaying the chance that we’ll see sweet Ben on our TV screens again.
Ben is simply the nicest guy — ever
Doesn’t every mom want their daughter to take a guy like Ben home? He’s just so sweet, telling Us Weekly he needs to “celebrate Lauren” because she’s happy in her new relationship. Ugh. If we could all be this cool about our relationships the world would be a nicer place.
When he found out Lauren was dating Devin Antin, Ben told Us he went for a run and asked God to “release some anxiety.”
"“I decided to go for a run. I was praying the whole time like, ‘God, please release some anxiety … I stopped and thought, if I’m the man I claim I want to be, then I need to celebrate Lauren. So if she’s happy, I will celebrate that the best I can.”"
Ben talks dating and becoming the next Bachelor
We feel for Ben. It’s not easy to see your ex flaunting their new relationship on social media. But it happens and, at some point, we all move on.
That’s exactly what Ben is planning to do, but slowly. He obviously doesn’t want to rush into anything. You know, like going on four dates and getting engaged.
Would he even consider becoming the next Bachelor?
Host Chris Harrison recently told E! News that ABC’s next leading man could be someone from a past season and not to rule out Ben.

Of course, many fans are rooting for Rachel’s runner-up, Peter Kraus to get the gig. At this time, all signs seem to point to Peter being the network’s number one choice, but we shall see.
As for Ben, he’s open to dating and didn’t say “no” about becoming the Bachelor again. But not just yet.
He tells Us, “I don’t want to say I wouldn’t, but I can’t say I would, either.”
For now, he wants to focus on the Almost Famous podcast he does with Ashley Iconetti and his new blog, The Mahogany Workplace.
He goes on to say that he started a new non-profit company, Generous Coffee, that “supports causes that make the world better.”
It’s too soon for Ben to go back on TV to find love. Maybe he will find it without cameras rolling — he’s a great catch.
