Next ‘Bachelor’ revealed on ‘Bachelorette After the Final Rose’? Who will hand out roses in 2018?

Who is the next Bachelor? Fans are ready for the big reveal now that Rachel Lindsay’s season of The Bachelorette is coming to a close.

Peter Kraus, Bryan Abasolo, Eric Bigger, Dean Unglert, Kenny King — who is the Bachelor 2018? Fans hope to find out during the Bachelorette After the Final Rose special on Monday night and it could be a big surprise. Chris Harrison hints that a man from a past season may hand out roses during the show’s 22nd season.

If the 2018 Bachelor announcement is made on Monday night, it won’t be the first time Chris has introduced a new Bachelor or Bachelorette star has been introduced on the live After the Final Rose special. Juan Pablo Galavis was announced as the Bachelor  during the Season 9 ATFR (Des Hartsock).  And who can forget JoJo Fletcher’s introduction as the Season 12 Bachelorette? Ben Higgins looked a little uncomfortable when Chris brought JoJo out on stage.

Of course, ABC could create even more anticipation over the selection of the next Bachelor by holding off until the live Bachelor in Paradise reunion that’s scheduled to air in September. Both Nick Viall and Ben Higgins were announced during the After Paradise talk show prior to their seasons. (Of note – it looks like the After Paradise snooze-fest is not happening this season.)

Has the next Bachelor already been picked?

Warning: There are Bachelorette season 13 spoilers ahead.

Chris Harrison will keep saying, “a decision hasn’t been made yet” until the announcement is made. But we don’t believe him. There isn’t a single guy in the Bachelor in Paradise cast who is worthy of the Bachelor title. Although Chris hints that even Ben Higgins is under consideration, we can’t imagine that’s going to happen.

Honestly, how can it be anyone but Peter Kraus?

Reality Steve‘s spoilers point to Rachel dumping Eric after the Fantasy Suite dates and we’re 99.99 percent certain he’s just too new to the love game to get the gig. (We’re rooting for him to find love off camera, though!)

If the spoilers are correct, Bryan will get the final rose and Peter will leave in tears. His overly emotional exit is a bit far-fetched.

Although he will tell Rachel he loves her during his Fantasy Suite date, it seems to be forced by producers. He likes Rachel, but is he in love with her? Probably not.

Even if it was forced, it will give him a backstory for the upcoming season of The Bachelor.

Poor Peter got rejected after he finally admitted that he loved Rachel. Now he needs to date 25 women who will throw themselves at him in the Bachelor mansion.

Plus, it’s a great way for Peter to promote his fitness business and those Fab Fit Fun boxes he’s been talking about on Instagram. (Eye roll)

Whether the next Bachelor is announced during the Bachelorette After the Final Rose special or during the Bachelor in Paradise reunion, our money is on Peter Kraus.
