‘Bachelorette’ spoilers: Rachel’s hometown dates lead to heartbreak

Bachelorette Rachel Lindsay heads to the hometowns of her final four guys on Monday night. Get ready for some uglying crying and stressful family introductions.

Rachel travels across the country for hometown dates on Monday night. One of her final four guys will go home and three guys will head to next week’s overnight dates in Madrid. Who stays, who goes?

Previews for tonight’s hometowns show that Rachel has a big decision to make. She has a connection with Bryan, Peter, Dean, and Eric, but are they all ready for marriage? Scroll down after the video preview of tonight’s show and the latest scoop on what goes down during hometowns. At least one date is going to be awkward, to say the least.

On Monday night, Rachel will visit Bryan in Florida (Miami), Dean in Colorado, Eric in Maryland, and Peter in Wisconsin. You’ve been warned — there are spoilers below. And, of course, I’ve thrown in my own opinions about Rachel’s final four…

Eric needs to fall in love, stat

Eric Bigger may be a frontrunner, but his romantic connection with Rachel seems to be lacking. He’s never been in love and we’re positive he’s not in love with Rachel. Still, there’s something that she likes about Eric.

He has a lot of positive energy — that’s a good thing! However, if he’s never been in love, he’s going to need a lot more time to get to that point. Or maybe just a night in the Fantasy Suite will do the trick. Spoilers indicate that his hometown goes well and he heads to the overnight dates next week.

Does Peter have other plans?

Talk about a blast from the past. Rachel flies to Wisconsin to meet Peter’s family. Although he doesn’t live in the same town, Nick Viall’s hometown with Rachel was also in Wisconsin.

Bad karma? Not yet. Rachel takes Peter to Madrid next week for a romantic overnight roll in the hay. Okay, we assume that’s what happens. Because it’s Peter. He’s easy on the eyes. But is Peter ready to tie the knot or will he soon be entertaining 25 ladies in the Bachelor mansion? Just a thought.

Don’t mess with Bryan’s mother

On the Bachelorette season premiere, Bryan almost ate Rachel’s face. His kissing technique was up for discussion on Twitter. Even his ex, Jubilee Sharpe (Ben’s season) threw a little shade at Bryan. However, Rachel seems to like everything about the Miami chiropractor.

Let’s see how the Bachelorette star feels after she meets his Mom. She’s one protective Mama Bear and I totally get that. No matter what Bryan’s mother says to Rachel (we know the drama is overproduced!), he’s going straight to the Fantasy Suite next week for a little nooky.

Oh, Deanie-baby!

Is your father really a wizard, Dean? Hey, there’s nothing wrong with that. Better than a warlock. Go figure that Rachel’s hometown date with Dean is a little weird. After all, producers had to make this date as odd as possible so it would be easier to understand why Rachel dumps Dean during the hometown dates rose ceremony.

Let’s get real. He’s too young for her. Not ready for marriage for sure. And definitely not the next Bachelor. Mostly because he’s in a love triangle with two girls he met on Bachelor in Paradise. Crazy, but true.

Watch the Bachelorette on Monday nights at 8 p.m. ET on ABC.
