The Bachelorette star Rachel Lindsay picks her final four guys during an emotional rose ceremony in Switzerland. Who gets a hometown date this season?
The hometown dates episode is just a few weeks away and this season’s frontrunners are starting to emerge. After traveling around the globe for dates and a whole ‘lotta drama, Rachel will soon be down to just four guys.
The hometown dates episode is scheduled to air on Monday, July 17, one week after Rachel brings her final six guys to Switzerland. Who gets picked for hometown dates and who does Rachel send home after meeting the four guys’ families? Here’s what fans can expect to see during the hometown dates (Episode 8) and some info on the final three who will head to the Fantasy Suite with Rachel.
Rachel and her guys will make three international stops before hometown dates. Episode 5 (June 26) was filmed in Norway. Episode 6 (July 3) was filmed in Denmark. And the final stop before hometowns (Episode 7, July 10) was filmed in Switzerland. Not a bad (free) vacation for the guys— even if they don’t make it to hometowns.
Rachel travels across the U.S. for the Hometown Dates episode
According to Reality Steve, one of Rachel’s final four is Eric Bigger. He had a blow-out with Lee Garrett during Episode 4, but it was Lee who lost out. Garrett gets ditched on Episode 5 and Eric gets a pass right through to hometowns … and beyond.
Rachel will spend time with Eric, who currently lives in L.A., in his hometown of Baltimore, Maryland.
The next hometown date will be with Peter Kraus, the 30-year-old owner of Worth Personal Training. He hails from Madison, Wisconsin — the same state that Bachelor Nick Viall grew up in.

Aspen, Colorado is Rachel’s next stop. She’ll visit Dean Unglert’s family there. He’s the youngest guy in the Bachelorette cast this season, but fans love him. Bachelor potential? Time will tell.
Rachel’s fourth hometown date is with Dr. Bryan Abasolo. She’ll head to Miami, Florida to visit the chiropractor who told her he was good with his hands.
Who does Rachel send home after hometowns?
If the spoilers are right, Rachel will send Dean home at the hometown dates rose ceremony.
Ugh. Dean’s sweet — but maybe she sensed he wasn’t ready to settle down just yet? That means Eric, Bryan, and Peter will score some time in the Fantasy Suite.
Watch the Bachelorette at 8 p.m. ET on Monday nights on ABC.
