Dancing With The Stars Week 4: Charity Lawson does Disney

It’s Disney Week! Dancing With The Stars embraced its inner princess Tuesday night, and the 11 remaining couples competed with various dances. Charity Lawson was made for Disney Week!

Who doesn’t love Disney? This was so exciting.

Charity and her partner Artem Chigvintsev danced the waltz this week to the classic song from The Little Mermaid, “Part of Your World.”

Artem and Charity practiced all week and tried to get Charity to be more “dramatic” for the waltz.

Charity got the final dance of the night and began alone onstage in an underwater paradise and was soon joined by Artem.

This waltz was so lyrical! The movements did almost look like they were swimming underwater.

Bruno said it was a “wonderful, uplifting waltz.”

Carrie Ann said Charity “brought [the character] to life in the most beautiful way.”

Derek complimented Charity for fixing her arm placement, and said the dance was “graceful” and “magnificent.”

Charity said she’s giving her all every week, and that she wants to keep getting better!

Artem was asked about dancing with Charity, and said it was “such an honor,” and very uplifting every week. These two are so cute!

The scores

Charity and Artem have been at or near the top of the leaderboard every week so far, and last week was their best week yet!

This week, the pair received 8, 8, and 8. Derek said it was very close to a 9!

The combined score was 24 out of 30.

Charity and Artem tied for 3rd on the leaderboard this week. I can’t believe we are seeing such high scores early in the season!

Sadly, NFL star Adrian Peterson was sent home this week. He will be greatly missed!
