What Bachelorette Becca Kufrin has to say about Lincoln will make you wonder if she’s being coached by production to downplay this season’s controversies.

When Reality Steve and former Bachelor contestant Ashley Spivey informed fans that Lincoln Admin was recently convicted of aggravated indecent assault and battery, we fully expected ABC, Chris Harrison, and Becca to make a statement.

Weeks later, we were left with a weak statement from ABC, and a mere mention by host Chris Harrison. And Becca? In a recent interview with Glamour, the Bachelorette star totally brushed the whole thing off — just like she did with the Garrett situation.

When E! News asked her about Garrett’s Instagram controversy, Becca gave them a rather lackluster answer — something that is rather confusing because most of his “likes” were related to topics that we can’t imagine Becca agreeing with.

“Everyone is entitled to their own opinions,” Becca stated last month. “I would hope people would stay open and respect me but also stay open and respect these 28 guys that went along on the journey with me.”

Considering Garrett made it to the final two, it’s clear she had no idea about his social media when they were filming. But, she knew about it AFTER filming wrapped, so her reaction seems producer induced. Maybe she’s had time to think about, though — considering her recent Instagram story features a breakup song.

Becca has nothing bad to say about Lincoln

In a recent interview with Glamour Magazine that took place after she taped the Men Tell All, Becca gushed about the guys from her season.

When Glamour asked if she felt that way about ALL the guys, considering the controversies, Becca continued to say the “guys are amazing” and she respects all of them.

And even when she was directly asked about Lincoln, Becca still didn’t call him out.

I still stand by what I said, and I still think those guys are amazing,” Becca told Glamour. “There’s a lot of bodies around [while filming], and I never felt unsafe. He [Lincoln] always treated me with respect. So, yeah…

What’s wrong with you, Becca? Are you a Bachelorette Puppet? What happened to doing the damned thing and speaking out. You know, #MeToo and all that?

dark. Next. Is Becca still engaged to her final pick?

We shall see if they address Lincoln and Garrett’s controversies on the Bachelorette After the Final Rose special next Monday night. Don’t hold your breath.
