The next Bachelor announcement is just weeks away. We’re hoping Blake gets the gig if he doesn’t win Bachelorette Becca’s final rose.
There aren’t many guys from The Bachelorette Becca’s season who are worthy of the Bachelor gig. And we’re not so sure bringing back a guy from the past is a good idea. But, we do think Blake is a fantastic choice — for a number of reasons.
Most of Becca’s guys are hoping producers are considering them to become ABC’s next leading man, doing their best to stay relevant on social media. But, the truth is that host Chris Harrison and the show’s producers already have their short list of candidates — and it’s possible they’ve already made their pick. We’re just hoping it’s Blake because we know in our heart Becca won’t come to her senses and give him her final rose.

Blake isn’t insecure — he’s honest!
When Blake told Becca, “I look for reasons to stay and not reasons to leave” we knew he has what it takes to become the next Bachelor.
Finally, someone who doesn’t seem to be on the show so he can sell watches (or perfume) on Instagram.
But, despite the fact that he made it clear he’s the REAL DEAL, Bachelorette fans tried to knock him down.
He’s been getting flack on social media for being totally honest about his insecurities.
Seriously, who WOULDN’T be insecure when the girl you’re dating is dating another guy at the same time? In real life, that’s called cheating.
The whole speed dating thing while cameras are rolling is a joke, but Blake is doing his best to take the whole situation seriously.
I love you vs I am in love with you
He’s in it to win it, yes — but not because he wants to appear on the cover of People magazine with Becca. We feel that Blake is totally genuine about his feeling for Becca despite the pressure he’s under to make enough of an impression to capture her heart in a short period of time.
And then there’s Garrett who casually spit out a half-hearted, “I love you” but not saying ” I AM IN LOVE WITH YOU.” There’s a difference, you know!
If Becca is put off by Blake questioning if she has more feelings for Garrett, she’s making a big mistake.
But, rejecting Blake at the final rose ceremony could turn out to be a big win for some lucky lady. We hear the final casting is being done for the upcoming season of The Bachelor.
Let’s hope there are some sane ladies in the bunch who are actually looking for a guy who is “looking for reasons to stay and not reasons to leave.
We’re team Blake for 2019 Bachelor. How about you?
Watch The Bachelorette season finale on August 6 at 8 p.m. ET on ABC, or live streaming online.
