Bachelor in Paradise spoilers: Did Colton and Tia get engaged in Paradise?

Colton and Tia had a “thing” before he went on The Bachelorette. Now Tia’s hoping they rekindle their romance in Paradise.

It’s a no-brainer that Colton Underwood didn’t go on The Bachelorette to find love with Becca Kufrin. Sorry to burst your bubble, but that’s not happening. Unless you stay away from all forms of social media during Becca’s season, it’s hard to avoid spoilers.

A photo was recently leaked out on Twitter that showed Colton and Tia (Arie’s season) filming a date in Paradise. That confirms what we all knew was going to happen — he’s not Becca’s final pick, but did he get engaged to Tia in Paradise? Here’s what we know…

More from Accept This Rose

Colton will go on his second one-on-one date with Becca on Episode 7 (June 9). The chemistry between them is purely physical, so we don’t believe for one minute when Colton tells Becca he’s falling in love with her.

However, Becca is so smitten with his abs that she keeps him around for another week. That’s right — Colton gets a hometown date.

Tia shows up on the hometown date episode

Of course, she does! Tia ruins Colton’s chance to score a free trip to the Fantasy Suite, something that he’s probably not too happy about. It’s a free trip to Thailand, so we totally understand why he was bummed out.

Spoilers point to Becca sending Colton home after his hometown date. He may have missed out on a trip to Thailand, but he got a ticket to Mexico to film Bachelor in Paradise. I guess that’s a decent consolation prize.

Tia and Colton meet in Paradise

Reality Steve talked about Colton and Tia’s relationship on the Bachelor Party podcast. Although they went on at least one date in Paradise, they did not leave the show together. They are not engaged and, from what we know, are not dating.

Did Colton hook up with another girl while in Paradise? We’ll find out soon enough, but something tells us that he has his eye on becoming the next Bachelor.

He shouldn’t get his hopes up, though. There’s word Ben Higgins may make a comeback as The Bachelor 2019.

Watch the Bachelor in Paradise premiere on Tuesday, August 7 at 8 p.m. on ABC.
