The Bachelorette Becca’s season: Love story or bro-fest?

The Bachelorette Becca Kufrin hands out her final rose in a few weeks. We’re still waiting for a love story to unfold.

After an incredibly boring season of the Bachelor, we held out hope that Becca’s season of The Bachelorette wouldn’t be a snooze-fest. Instead, we’re counting the days ’til the final rose ceremony because that means it’s almost time for what we hope will be a dramatic season of Bachelor in Paradise.

Isn’t The Bachelorette supposed to be about finding love? We just don’t see that happening. And, judging from tweets about Becca’s season, this may go down as the Most Boring Season of The Bachelorette — ever.

Becca is an intelligent, beautiful woman. There’s no doubt she’s lots of fun off-camera.

But, when cameras are rolling, she is so scripted.

Of course, producers are probably telling her what to say, so we can’t fault her for becoming another Bachelor/ette robot.

Friend Zone

We’re heading into Week 7. By this time, fans usually see a few somewhat believable connections between the Bachelorette and one or two guys.

Instead, it appears that Becca is a Boy Scout den mother. Or she’s just hanging out with a bunch of her guy friends.

Okay, Becca seems to have her eye on Garrett. But, what does she know about him other than he likes to have fun and he was married for a hot minute?

And then there’s Jason. He seems like a great catch, but after one date Becca quickly moved him from “Jason who?” to “I could see myself marrying Jason.”

Oh, and we can’t forget Colton. The guy who probably thought Tia was going to be the Bachelorette but he’s “falling in love” with Becca. And she’s falling for that nonsense? C’mon, now.

And Blake? He’s rumored to make it far this season. Does she even know his middle name? Or his favorite color? They’ve barely spoken to each other since their first one-on-one date. And that wasn’t even a date — it was an Arie-bashing session.

The Bachelorette seems to be all about fake bro-fights and goofy guys who are just there to further their careers (hey, Jordan!) or increase their Instagram followers (Connor, we see you on IG).

Where’s the love story this season?

Becca has already confirmed that she is engaged and admits that she fell in love with two guys. We assume that producers told her to say that to create some drama on an otherwise boring season.

Or maybe she did fall in love with two guys and we slept through the episodes that show her making a love connection.

Is it time for Bachelor in Paradise yet?!
