Bachelorette Becca Kufrin has a past with contestant Jake Enyeart. Will their connection give Jake an advantage over the other guys?

Becca Kufrin’s ex-boyfriend, Ross, made an appearance on Arie’s season of The Bachelor. Although he won’t show up on The Bachelorette, another guy from her past — Jake Enyeart — will.

During last week’s Facebook live event, host Chris Harrison revealed Becca and Jake have different versions of their past relationship. So, inquiring minds want to know — will their past connection play a major part in Becca’s journey to find love? Here’s the scoop!

According to LinkedIn, Jake, 29, is the Executive Producer and Director of Business Development at SuperBird Studios. He hails from the same hometown (well, it’s a city) as Becca — Minneapolis, MN.

If you watched Chris Harrison introduce Becca’s guys on Facebook last week, you may recall him saying fans will learn more about Becca’s connection with Jake “as the show goes on.”

Chris hints that there will be drama ahead, but it’s not that big of a deal.

Although there is a past between Becca and Jake, the Bachelorette star will quickly put an end to any potential drama.

Spoiler alert

Becca will tell Jake he “looks familiar” when he steps out of the limo on night one. That’s not something you say to a guy you had a relationship with, right?

Right.

That’s because they were never in a relationship and their “past” consists of hanging out with the same group of friends in Minnesota.

It’s a real downer for fans were hoping the guy was coming back for a second chance after a breakup.

However, we’re giving a huge round of applause to Becca for calling him out on the first night.

During the first cocktail party of the season, Becca tells Jake that she met him “numerous times” when they were out with friends.

According to Reality Steve, Jake only remembers meeting her once at a Christmas party.

Becca calls him out for not showing any interest in her before she became the Bachelorette.

Seriously, why does he want to win her heart on TV when he could have pursued her when they were hanging out in Minnesota.

Sounds like Jake came on the show to promote his business — or maybe he really does have a memory problem.

We’re going to go with the old “there for the wrong reasons” thing.

Spoilers point to Becca sending Jake home during the cocktail party. You go girl. Get those wrong reasons guys out of there ASAP.

The Bachelorette season 14 begins at 8 p.m. ET on Monday, May 28.
