Dean Unglert returning to Bachelor in Paradise after breakup with Lesley Murphy?
By Ruby Maxwell
One month after the Bachelor Winter Games finale, Dean Unglert and Lesley Murphy have confirmed they are no longer in a relationship.
Dean Unglert and Lesley Murphy are single and ready to mingle. Last month, Dean gave the key to his apartment to Lesley Murphy during the Bachelor Winter Games World Tells All special. Now they are joining a long list of Bachelor franchise couples who fell in love at warp speed, only to split weeks after the finale.
Why did Dean and Lesley break up, and will Dean show up in Paradise this summer? Here’s the scoop!
Oh, Dean…
When Dean and Lesley paired up on the Bachelor Winter Games, many fans were excited that Dean wasn’t acting like an f-boy like he did in Paradise last summer.

In fact, he seemed to be genuinely interested in Lesley and, we admit it, they were super cute together.
Considering he created a hot mess by DLo and Kristina, we’re not shocked his relationship with Lesley didn’t last.
We are just assuming here, but if he wasn’t ready to commit to one girl last summer, there’s a good chance he wasn’t ready for a relationship when the Bachelor Winter Games was filmed a few months later.
Dean admits in his most recent Instagram post (below) that he has a lot of work to do before he’s ready for a relationship. But that doesn’t mean he won’t head to Paradise this summer.
“Growing up as a kid I had a crude but utopian idea of what love is. I always had this idea that no matter what you did, no matter how you act, as long as you’re true to yourself and act in good conscious, your path would lead you to the one person on this planet you’re meant to be with. As I’ve gotten older, I’ve learned that although everyone DESERVES love, it’s not something we’re entitled to. Love takes work. Love is compromise. Love is earned. I still have a lot of work to do on myself, a lot to prove to myself, before I’m ready for something like that.”
Bachelor in Paradise doesn’t start filming until early June, but it won’t be long before the cast list leaks out online.
While we’re sure Dean will downplay any interest in going to Mexico for another round of reality TV dating, will anyone be surprised if he shows up in Paradise this summer?
