The Bachelorette: How much is Becca getting paid to find love?

The Bachelorette Becca Kufrin is looking for love, but even if all 28 guys turn out to be total duds, she’ll still get a paycheck.

Arie Luyendyk broke Becca Kufrin’s heart on the Bachelor season finale, but claims he broke up with her on camera so she’d have a shot at becoming the next Bachelorette. That’s a decent consolation prize for Becca considering she’s now dating 28 guys and getting paid to do so.

The big question is, how much is Becca getting paid to find love as the Season 14 Bachelorette? Is the money ABC pays their lead worth all of the controversy that often follows the lead when their journey to find loves plays out on TV?

The guys who were cast for Becca’s season won’t get paid a dime to appear on the show. ABC only pays the lead, but there are incentives for contestants to come on the show — an increase in Instagram followers, paid product promotion, and/or the possibility of getting paid to go on Bachelor in Paradise.

Oh, and there’s a chance one guy will find love with Becca and they will live happily ever after.

Love or money? Maybe both!

Becca quickly went from heartbroken to hopeful when she was named the 2018 Bachelorette. Now that she’s several weeks into filming, she probably has a good idea which guys are husband material.

If you’re a die-hard Bachelor/ette fan, you know the romance often fizzle out soon after the finale. Case in point — Arie and Becca. The whole “journey to find love” thing is basically televised speed dating, so it’s not a big shock when the whirlwind love story doesn’t work out.

So, even if Becca doesn’t find love, at least there’s a paycheck waiting for her. Hopefully, that doesn’t happen again.

And the money doesn’t stop there. After the finale, the lead can earn more cash when they make appearances on TV, at nightclubs, or other Bachelorette-related events.

And, of course, there is money to be made on social media promoting products for various companies.

Unless Becca spills the beans about her contract, we will never know for sure how much she’s getting paid to find love.

Let’s just hope it’s worth it and she finds the man of her dreams.
