Peter Kraus hints he may not join Bachelor Winter Games cast despite confirmation from Mike Fleiss

Peter Kraus turned down the Bachelor gig and now he’s hinting that we may not see him compete on the Winter Games spinoff.

This is bad news for Team Peter. Weeks after Bachelor creator Mike Fleiss confirmed Peter Kraus is headed to Vermont next month to film The Bachelor Winter Games, Peter is telling a completely different story.

Yes, it’s totally possible that Peter will not be on the Bachelor spinoff that’s set to air in February. As if turning down ABC’s offer to become the season 22 Bachelor wasn’t heartbreaking enough (we’ll give Arie a chance, though), Kraus made it clear during an interview with The Morning Breath that not everything Mike Fleiss says is true.

We know Fleiss likes to tweet absurd stuff like, “Working out final details for @realDonaldTrump to attend opening ceremonies of #TheBachelor Winter Games!!!”  (so random)

However, we totally trust Fleiss when he makes a cast announcement. Or at least we thought we trusted him until Peter revealed that he’s not confirmed to appear on The Winter Games.

On October 4, Mike Fleiss tweeted, “Yes, Peter will be looking for love– and going for the gold– on #TheBachelor Winter Games!!!!” One month later, Peter says Mike’s tweet may not be accurate.

“Mike Fleiss likes to tweet a lot of things,” Peter said during an interview with The Morning Breath. “I feel like he even said I was the Bachelor at one point, so I think he just likes to throw people off.”

Wait. What? Fleiss was just kidding? Or is Peter just trying to create some hype to get fans talking about the spinoff?

Clearly, Peter wasn’t ready to get engaged when he appeared on Rachel’s season of The Bachelorette. But there’s no requirement to propose on the Winter Games as far as we know. So, why would he turn it down?

We’ll bet a bottle or ten of wine that Peter will be part of the Winter Games cast. He’s talking about it WAY too often and says he’s interested in appearing on the show. Hey, maybe Fleiss told him to say he’s not confirmed yet so fans would start crying.

“It’s definitely something I’ve been interested in — it looks like a blast, and I know some of my good friends are going onto it,” Peter said, making us believe he’s totally faking the “unconfirmed thing.

“I won’t say who, because I don’t know if they’ve been announced either, but it looks like a really good time.”

We know who some of your good friends are, Peter. We fully expect to see Dean Unglert competing for whatever the prize is. And we won’t be surprised to see Alex Bordyukov on the Bachelor Winter Games cast list, either!
