Bachelor Arie Luyendyk’s ladies are serious about finding love, not fame (really?)

Bachelor Arie Luyendyk Jr. is traveling around the globe to find love. Apparently, his ladies are just as serious about finding a spouse as he is.

Finding love on the Bachelor seems to be an afterthought for many contestants. Instead, growing their social media following and selling Fab Fit Fun boxes is the norm for those who join the cast of not only the Bachelor, but the Bachelorette, and Paradise.

However, there’s word that many of Bachelor Arie Luyendyk’s ladies are actually looking for a husband, not a deal with a company that sells teeth whitener or Skinny Tea. Supposedly, Arie is ready to settle down as well, despite his reputation for enjoying the single life.

Of course, we’re not sure if we believe this or not. We’ll have to wait and see how the season turns out. But Entertainment Tonight‘s sources state that Arie took the gig because he wants to settle down.

What about Arie’s ladies?

“The production has cast women this season who are serious about making a connection, and not just wanting to become famous on the show,” the ET’s source states.

Considering many of his women are 24 to 26-years-old, we’re not sure we’re buying that. Maybe Arie is ready to follow in his friend Sean Lowe’s footsteps and get married and have babies. Who are we to say what’s going on inside Arie’s head?

However, there’s a good chance most of the women cast for the show applied because they thought Peter Kraus was going to be the 2018 Bachelor. Does that make them any less serious about finding a husband?

Maybe not

But anyone who watched Rachel’s season of the Bachelorette knows that Peter was not ready to settle down after a few made-for-TV dates.

That’s probably the sole reason he didn’t take the Bachelor gig and has opted to appear on the Bachelor Winter Games where getting engaged won’t be forced.

As for Arie, filming for his season is about half-way through. He’s already been on a number of dates in the U.S. and is, by now, a pro at handing out roses.

Will fans see an engagement at the end of Arie’s season? There is no doubt the 36-year-old race car driver will propose.

The big question is, will producers talk him into proposing or will he do so because he’s head-over-heels in love?

Stay tuned! The Bachelor season 22 premieres in January 2018.
