Bachelorette Rachel Lindsay and her fiancé, Bryan Abasolo are leaving their jobs and heading to California. What will they do in L.A.?
Rachel Lindsay and Bryan Abasolo are planning their next move and it’s not a wedding. During a recent appearance on the Wendy Williams Show, they revealed they are leaving their jobs and moving to California. (video below)
There is speculation that the couple moving to L.A. because they want to star in their own reality show, but Rachel claims she plans to take the bar exam in California so she can practice law there. And Bryan? He admits he hasn’t worked as a chiropractor since he appeared on the Bachelorette.
Rachel currently lives in Dallas. Bryan hails from Miami but, more often than not, he’s in Dallas with Rachel. He’s not working right now, so how is he contributing? The couple frequently makes appearances at various events and most reality stars are paid for showing up, so there’s that.
Wendy Williams gives Rachel and Bryan a hard time
If Rachel and Bryan thought they were going on Wendy’s show to get a round of applause, that didn’t happen. Wendy seemed to be a little skeptical about their move to Los Angeles. Why would they leave their jobs in Texas and Miami, where their families live, and head to California?
They continue to insist that they aren’t moving so they can get back in front of cameras, but they didn’t confirm why they picked L.A. over their own hometowns. If Rachel takes the bar exam and is able to practice law in California, she shouldn’t have a hard time finding a job. But there are still questions as to why Bryan hasn’t worked at all since he filmed the Bachelorette.
Rachel and Bryan said “for now” they don’t plan on doing a spinoff, but Wendy wasn’t buying it.
“I predict they will fold and get married on TV. Then it will be Rachel and Bryan have a baby on TV ….you’re going to keep this going.”

Their relocation isn’t the only thing Wendy questioned. She was focused on Rachel’s final pick and made it clear she wasn’t happy Rachel picked Bryan over Peter.
Wendy’s not alone — many fans thought she just wanted a ring, something Peter wasn’t on board with.
During the show, Wendy talked about Peter, noting that she thought he was a better choice.
Rachel addressed the notion that she picked Bryan just because he was willing to give her a ring.
“Did I want to be engaged? 100 percent,” Rachel told Wendy. “But the way it looked … it made me look a little desperate. And Peter wasn’t the one I wanted. I chose the one I wanted. I think that that’s just how it came across on the screen.”
