Peter’s overnight date may prove Reality Steve’s ‘Bachelorette’ spoilers wrong

Bachelorette fans who are counting on Reality Steve’s spoilers to be right may be in for a big surprise during the overnight dates episode.

The Bachelorette star Rachel Lindsay heads to Spain with her final three guys on Monday night. What transpires after the Fantasy Suite dates may make tonight’s show the most shocking episode of the season.

Peter, Bryan, and Eric made it past hometowns and onto the overnight dates. After they guys meet with Rachel’s family and jet off to Spain, the departure of one of Rachel’s frontrunners could prove Reality Steve’s Fantasy Suite date spoilers wrong. Chill the wine — the overnight dates episode may take us back to the Bachelorette Desiree Hartsock—Brooks Forester cry-fest. Here’s what we know so far.

Expect the unexpected

On Sunday, Bachelor franchise creator Mike Fleiss tweeted a heads-up to Bachelorette fans. Perhaps it was a signal that we should be prepared with an extra gallon (or two) of wine and a box of tissues.

“Chris Harrison and I agree,” Fleiss tweeted. “You will be shocked by Monday night’s episode of The Bachelorette.”

Of course, Harrison and Fleiss always try to throw us off course. However, there have been some rumblings online that something unexpected may happen during Peter’s overnight date with Rachel.

And we’re not talking about the final rose…

Reality Steve initially said Peter got engaged to Rachel. Then he changed his spoilers and confirmed Bryan won the final rose.

We don’t think that’s going to change.

We’re confident Bryan will be sucking Rachel’s face after a carefully crafted proposal.

However…

Peter’s exit may come earlier than expected

Clearly, Peter is not down with an engagement. We’re not even sure he’s into Rachel. He likes her, but not in the “I want to get married and have babies” kinda’ way.

Mike Fleiss’ tweet has us thinking…

Will Peter ditch Rachel during the overnight dates — only to return during the final rose ceremony?

It’s possible. Here’s what I think may happen during Monday night’s show.

Eric will leave after his overnight date. There’s no doubt that Rachel will friend-zone him and tell him goodbye. He won’t stick around for the final rose. Heck, he was tagged in a bunch of Men Tell All pics on social media, so clearly he was in L.A. when the special was taped on Friday.

Peter made it clear during hometowns that he’s not ready to propose. And who would be after a couple of dates?

Well, Bryan was. Heck, Bryan was ready to get engaged straight out of the limo. He just wants to win no matter what.

Peter has bigger plans

Here are my thoughts on the outcome of Monday night’s show.

Peter dumps Rachel after the overnight dates. He then returns to wish her well during the finale.

Minutes later he will be confirmed as the next Bachelor.

More from Accept This Rose

Of course, Fleiss could be leading us on. He’s done that before. In that case, Peter makes it to the final rose and tells Rachel he’s not ready for marriage.

That leaves her with Bryan. As Dean says, she is in lust with the Miami doc, so her engagement may not end in marriage. Time will tell.

Of course, Bryan is thrilled to get engaged. He gets to go on a media tour with Rachel after the finale airs. There are plenty of photo ops and other perks that winners get after they win the final rose.

And, in the end, Peter’s fans will be thrilled because he is the next Bachelor.

If he’s not? We have no idea who would make a better lead. Do you?
