Rachel Lindsay can’t reveal her final pick until the Bachelorette finale but says they have already agreed on a wedding date!

Rachel Lindsay will finally be able to go out in public with her fiancé when the Bachelorette: After the Final Rose special airs on August 7. Until then, she’s keeping her ring in a box and her meet-ups with her final pick on the down-low. However, there are a few things she is excited to share about her future with the guy who stole her heart.

Rachel confirmed months ago that she got engaged. In just about every media interview, she shares how much she loves her new man. Now she’s dishing on the couple’s wedding plans. And yes, they are already talking about a date for the wedding — but when?

TV wedding for Rachel?

Rachel hasn’t mentioned anything about a televised wedding. However, it won’t be long before she’s flipping through the pages of bridal magazines.

Considering it takes time to plan a wedding, don’t be surprised if Rachel starts sharing wedding gown ideas on social media after the Bachelorette finale airs on ABC.

The Texas attorney tells People she’s totally in love with her fiancé. She says he’s a “hopeless romantic.”

And they are on the same page when it comes to setting a wedding date.

Rachel says that they are both hoping to plan a 2018 wedding.

They want to wait “about a year” from the day they got engaged.

The Bachelorette season finale was filmed in early May, so fans may see the couple tie the knot in less than nine months.

“I want to wait at least a year from the time that we got engaged,” Rachel tells People. “So ideally, I’d like to get married next year, but who knows? We’ll see what happens. He wants to wait a year too, but probably sooner. I think he’s just following my lead.”

Couples who get engaged on the Bachelor or the Bachelorette don’t have the best track record when it comes to getting married.

Maybe Rachel will beat the odds and finally get her happily ever after.

Watch the Bachelorette on Monday nights at 8 pm ET on ABC.
