‘Bachelorette’ contestant Bryan Abasolo’s past reveals he may be the ultimate player

Bachelorette Rachel Lindsay is smitten with Bryan Abasolo but his past indicates he may be the ultimate player. Here’s the scoop on Dr. A.

Rachel Lindsay had the hots for Miami chiropractor Bryan Abasolo from day one. After getting the first impression rose and the first kiss, Bryan has remained a frontrunner this season. Although he didn’t get a one-on-one date until Episode 6, it’s clear that Rachel is obsessed with him, calling their first kiss, “the hottest kiss” of her life.

Meanwhile, we’ve been doing a little digging into Bryan’s past. Mostly because we don’t want Rachel (and Copper!) to get hurt. So, what’s the scoop on Doc Abasolo? Here’s a little dirt on the guy who is rumored to win Rachel’s final rose.

Bryan was on another reality show and it’s sketchy

This isn’t Dr. A’s first TV rodeo. Some savvy fans tracked down the video below from UPN’s lame reality TV show, The Player (2004). It may take a minute for you to recognize him because he has long hair and earrings, but it appears that Bryan is one of the “players” in the show.

Speed ahead to about the :44 second mark to see Bryan, the “Miami Club Promoter.” (or his twin?) If it’s him, he was about 24-years-old at the time, so maybe we can forgive him?

Although it appears he tried to become the player on the show, it didn’t work out for him. (Good news for Rachel, or nah?)

The Futon Critic recapped The Ultimate Player. Apparently, one of the girls on the show said Bryan had, “no game.”

"“Bryan impressed her on a date in which he hired a plane to fly a banner reading Dawn & Bryan! But Dawn knew something was up later when she asked his buddies about Bryan and they fell silent. With nothing to say about their best friend, Dawn started to doubt his player skills … at the time of elimination, her choice was easy, and she asked Bryan to leave. She just felt he had no game.”"

Bryan dated one of ‘Bachelor’ Ben Higgins’ girls

If you haven’t heard, Jubilee Sharpe called Bryan out on Twitter earlier in the season. Jubilee hails from Ben’s season and she’s not known for keeping her thoughts to herself. She was right there with us when we were feeling a little put off by Bryan when he almost sucked Rachel’s face off on night one.

She tweeted a little dig at Bryan, giving props to Dean for being a better kisser. And while we’re not sure she has kissed Dean, she has kissed Bryan. Jubilee reportedly dated him before he became a contestant on Rachel’s season of the Bachelorette. Not sure how long, but it doesn’t sound like it ended in a life long friendship.

Bryan was in court for insurance fraud right before filming started

That’s right. Bryan is one of five guys who spent time in court (or in jail for one of them!) prior to taping the Bachelorette.

According to Radar Online, Dr. A was sued by Allstate Insurance for “submitting false records and bills” and “referred patients for MRIs without just cause.”

Yikes. 

Fortunately for Bryan, the lawsuit was dismissed in March 2017, right before the Bachelorette started filming.

As long as the doc stays out of trouble, all is well.
