Amanda Stanton in for big surprise on ‘Bachelor in Paradise’: Josh Murray joining Season 4 cast?

Amanda Stanton is heading back to ‘Bachelor in Paradise’ for a second season, just six months after her split with Josh Murray.

Filming for Bachelor in Paradise Season 4 gets underway this weekend with at least 30 former Bachelor and Bachelorette contestants heading to Mexico for another shot at finding love on TV. Although ABC has not confirmed the cast list, Amanda Stanton is heading back to Paradise for a second season, her third round of love-seeking on the franchise. (Ben Higgins’ season was her first.)

After a not-so-friendly breakup with Josh Murray, Amanda told Us Weekly she’s going to put that relationship behind her. However, she could be in for a big surprise in Paradise this summer. Is it possible Josh will show up at some point during the season? Heck, yeah. Producers aren’t interested in love stories — it’s ratings that are important. And what better way to get people to flock to their TVs on Monday nights this summer than to bring on pizza-munching Josh Murray to disrupt Amanda’s attempt to find a husband? Here’s what we know so far…

It’s all about drama, not love

Well, sometimes there’s a love story. In fact, Carly and Evan’s wedding will be featured at some point during the upcoming season of Bachelor in Paradise. But it’s drama that lures viewers in. Although we’re not sure we can endure another season of Josh’s lip-smacking and groaning, it just makes sense for producers to bring him back.

More from Bachelor in Paradise

According to Reality Steve, Amanda will be part of the cast that appears on the August 8 season premiere. Each week, guys and girls arrive as other contestants are sent home.

If Josh does return to the show, fans can expect that to happen when Amanda has already found a love-interest on the show. Drama sells!

Keep in mind, we’re speculating here. Don’t run out and tell your friends that Josh Murray is returning to Paradise.

However, we have been keeping a close eye on his social media for hints and will continue to do so.

According to a recent Instagram Live post, Josh is in Los Angeles for a week. The Famously Single Season 2 cast is taping promos this week, but he’s not on the show this season.

So…is he meeting with Bachelor in Paradise producers about a mid-season appearance? We shall see!
