Nick Viall is done with Dancing with the Stars and his Bachelor days are over but don’t expect him to disappear from the spotlight just yet.
Wisconsin native Nick Viall spent the past three years looking for love and learning how to dance. And he did it all while cameras were rolling. Although he didn’t win the DWTS Mirrorball trophy, Nick did find a bride-to-be after several failed attempts on four different Bachelor franchise shows.
Nick will return to TV in two weeks when he appears on the Dancing with the Stars finale. Although there’s a good chance he won’t become a professional ballroom dancer, it may not be his last television appearance.
What’s next on Nick’s to-do list?
If you’re thinking “TV wedding,” think again. Getting married isn’t a priority right now. Even his father has something to say about that.
But what about his new men’s grooming business? And those not-so-subtle hints his fiancee Vanessa Grimaldi dropped about another reality show? Here’s the scoop.
What a bummer
Nick lasted seven weeks on Dancing with the Stars. That’s impressive considering he hovered around the bottom of the leaderboard all season. Fans definitely came to his rescue with votes, but Nick’s luck finally ran out. After his elimination DWTS, the former Bachelor star told E News that getting eliminated from the competition was “definitely a bummer.”
"“I think Peta and I were sort of hoping to squeeze in one more week. Now that it’s over it’s sad … It’s definitely a bummer to see it end.”"
Nick gets back to business
Nick’s tells BuzzFeed that his new business, The Polished Gent, is his number-one priority. (Sorry, Vanessa)
The company is expected to make its debut next week and we have no idea what he’ll be selling. Razors? Shampoo? A nose hair trimmer? Guess we’ll find out soon.
Another reality TV show?
Nick was eliminated on Dancing with the Stars on May 1. His father, Chris Viall, tells WSIN Milwaukee that his family is “looking forward to things returning to a little bit of normalcy.”
That “normalcy” may be short-lived.
Shortly after Nick and Vanessa made their first appearance as an engaged couple, they went on a mini media tour. During a post-Bachelor press conference, they were asked if starring in another reality TV series is a possibility. Vanessa, who currently lives with Nick in Los Angeles, didn’t hesitate to answer the question.
“Never say never,” Vanessa told reporters.

So, should fans expect Nick and Vanessa to star in a show similar to Ben & Lauren’s sleeper of a spinoff on Freeform?
Or will Nick and Vanessa follow in the footsteps of other Bachelor franchise stars and appear on Marriage Boot Camp? After all, they admitted in an interview with People that they still have “a lot to learn about” as far as their relationship goes.
Even Nick’s father concurs that Nick and Vanessa’s relationship is a work in progress.
“They’re working on their relationship,” Chris Viall tells WISN. “I tell people they’ve known each other for a minute. They’re engaged, but now they’re actually learning about each other, living together and working things out.
Why not head to Boot Camp to nip the issues in the bud? Nick will get his reality TV fix and maybe, just maybe, Nick and Vanessa will turn out to be one of the few long-term relationships in the Bachelor world.
Do you think Nick Viall will return to TV in the near future?
