Wells Adams and Sarah Hyland are officially married!
Remember our second favorite bartender from Bachelor in Paradise and our favorite ditzy character from Modern Family? Well…those two would happen to be Wells Adams and Sarah Hyland, and guess what? They just got married!
This past Saturday, the couple decided to wed at a gorgeous winery called the Sunstone Winery near Santa Barbara, California!

Before we get into their actual wedding, here’s a little bit of backstory on how their relationship first started:
- Adams first appeared on the 12th season of The Bachelorette
- From there, back in 2016, Hyland first publically flirted with him on Twitter, then sparking dating rumors
- The pair made it official in 2017
- Hyland and Adams got engaged two years later, back in 2019
- They originally planned to get married in 2020, but due to COVID concerns, they had to postpone
- Adams voiced how he felt bad that his fiancé got robbed of doing all the fun stuff new brides got to do and planned to do it up even bigger this time.
Okay, back to their actual wedding…
This past weekend Wells Adams welcomed in a bunch of Sarah Hyland’s co-stars from Modern Family, including Ariel Winter (her TV sister, Alex), Nolan Gould (her super smart in real life and on TV, TV brother), Sofia Vergara, and Jesse Tyler Ferguson, who ended up officiating and marrying the pair in a super sweet and intimate event for everyone.
As far as the fashion part of their wedding went, while Adams opted for a classic tuxedo sort of look, Hyland decided on two different dresses, both designed by Vera Wang.
