Bachelor in Paradise is making a comeback this year after skipping last summer’s season due to the COVID-19 pandemic. A lot has happened in the two years that the series has been off our television screens, including Chris Harrison stepping away from the franchise.

It’s definitely been a strange season of The Bachelorette without him, and why wouldn’t it? He was the host for nearly 20 years so anyone stepping into his shoes just doesn’t feel the same. In any case, Bachelor in Paradise is making some interesting changes to its hosting duties and has just given resident bartender Wells Adams new responsibilities.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Adams is going to be the “master of ceremonies” during elimination ceremonies as well as be a guest host for one of the episodes during the season. He joins fellow guest hosts Lance Bass, Tituss Burgess, Lil Jon, and David Spade who will also be heading to the beaches of Paradise.

Is this real life or are we living in an alternate reality, Bachelor Nation?

Bachelor in Paradise Season 7

As of now, we only know about the guest hosts that will be joining the seventh season in place of Harrison’s past duties. It will be fun to see Wells Adams take on a larger role because he’s always been a welcome presence for Bachelor Nation.

He first appeared on JoJo Fletcher’s season of The Bachelorette and then went on to appear on the third season of Paradise before joining the series as the local bartender for all the contestants. His fiancée, Modern Family’s Sarah Hyland was beyond excited to share the news about Adams, and took to her social media to convey how proud she is of him. Aren’t they just the cutest couple ever?!

While we know now who will be joining as hosts throughout the season, what we don’t know yet is who is actually joining the cast of Bachelor in Paradise this year. Given that we’re two months away from the premiere, I suspect that we’ll be getting some confirmed news on that front.
