Genuine connections and serious drama are starting to form on The Bachelorette season 18! Our leading lady Michelle Young continues to prove how wonderful she is, and the premiere last week was a great start to the season.
We got to meet a handful of promising suitors, including Nayte Olukoya, who received Michelle’s first impression rose. Though there was some unnecessary drama, Michelle was quick to send the problematic contestant home and that was that.
Now, in the second episode, it looks like Michelle was ready to get to know her
a lot better through group dates and a one-on-one. The Minnesota native enlisted some adorable kids to quiz some of the men on their basic education skills, along with basketball players to test others on their basketball game.
Michelle had a one-on-one with
, who opened up on his mom’s untimely passing. The two bonded and shared a beautiful night. However, things took a turn later on in the episode when Jamie claimed the whole house was questioning Michelle’s connection with
.
The second episode ended with some drama, but Michelle kept her poise and explained herself. She also opened up the room during the cocktail party to see if any of the men had any questions about her relationship with Jamie. Unfortunately, none of the men spoke up, and when Michelle left the room, they expressed how confused they were.
It seems that Jamie created the whole scenario and lied to Michelle about it, which totally wasn’t cool! We were rooting for you, Jamie!
Who was eliminated on The Bachelorette episode 2?
Tayshia Adams and Kaitlyn Bristowe then came in and told the men that the rest of the cocktail party was canceled. Instead, they’d be heading straight to the rose ceremony. Here’s who got eliminated:
