How long does Blake Moynes stay on The Bachelorette season 17? [SPOILERS]

We’re four episodes into The Bachelorette season 17 and somehow Katie Thurston‘s journey to finding true love is still just getting started! Though she’s formed genuine connections with multiple contestants in the house, such as Greg Grippo, Michael Allio, and Andrew Spencer, another cast member has just entered the chat and is on his way to steal Katie’s heart!

That’s right, a new

contestant

is being added to the cast list and he’s a familiar face to anyone who watched Clare Crawley/Tayshia Adams’ season of

The Bachelorette

last year. In

episode 4 

this week, Blake Moynes appeared and asked Katie if he could join the season. Of course, Katie was extremely shocked and couldn’t make a decision just then.

By the end of the episode, however, Katie headed out for Blake’s room and let him know he could join the competition. It was after the rose ceremony and tensions were high over Katie sending

home, so it seems Katie was truly following her heart by allowing Blake to stay.

Does Blake Moynes win The Bachelorette season 17?

Katie seemed very flustered when meeting Blake during episode 4, and it honestly looked like they were already forming a genuine connection. Well, it might’ve been love at first sight, because Blake ends up winning the season!

According to Reality Steve, Blake is the recipient of the final rose and he is currently engaged to Katie.

Here’s what the TV expert had to say in a June 23 blog post about this season’s winner:

"“For the longest time since filming ended, I basically kept hearing things about her final 4 of those who DIDN’T win. And at some point during that time, I’ve received actual proof that Andrew, Justin, and Greg all didn’t win. I obviously can’t share that proof without compromising sources. Last week was when I got the proof on the final guy who didn’t win. So yeah, all signs pointed to Blake due to process of elimination, but I still didn’t feel comfortable reporting Blake because nobody had actually told me ‘Katie is engaged to Blake.’ I also hadn’t been told that she DIDN’T pick him either. Just hadn’t heard anything regarding Blake until this past weekend I got my first ‘She’s with Blake’ info, then yesterday, got the confirmation I needed.”"

Considering the connections Katie already has with some of these men, I’m now expecting Blake to sweep her off her feet! The two have already shown that they share a similar sense of humor, but I’m going to need a little more convincing to believe Blake’s the right choice for Katie.
