Cassie Randolph drops restraining order against Colton Underwood
By FS staff
These days, it’s hard to keep up with what’s going on in Cassie Randolph and Colton Underwood’s rollercoaster breakup.
In fact, their relationship status seems to be ever-evolving now more than ever, and not necessarily in a good way as of late. But something might be changing. Officially, we have a little bit of seemingly positive news regarding what’s happening between this on-again, off-again pair right now. And no, they’re not on again.
According to TMZ, Cassie Randolph has officially dropped her restraining order against her ex, Colton Underwood.
Reportedly, Cassie didn’t just dismiss the restraining order, but she also officially can’t refile this one now. On top of that, it appears the police investigation is also being dropped, per Cassie’s request.
However, it’s not clear what changed Cassie’s mind about Colton once again. Not yet, anyway.
Colton, on the other hand, recently opened up on why Cassie dropped the charges and where they currently stand, sort of. The Bachelor alum told TMZ:
"Today Cassie asked the court to dismiss the temporary restraining order against me. The two of us were able to reach a private agreement to address any of Cassie’s concerns."
Underwood went on to say that he doesn’t believe Randolph “did anything wrong” when she chose to file for the restraining order, and said he also believes that she “acted in good faith.”
Perhaps that’s Colton’s way of saying her actions were justified, even if his were not. He did not, however, reveal if he did in fact put a tracking device on Cassie’s car, or if he went to other great lengths to keep tabs on his ex after they broke up. But it sounds like he might’ve.
When it’s all said and done, these two both seem to have a common goal moving forward: Maintaining their privacy. And that’s a good place to start, together or apart.
