The Cassie Randolph and Colton Underwood breakup chronicles continue.

Cassie Randolph has been under the spotlight ever since stopping by The Bachelor: Greatest Seasons Ever for an interview. When Chris Harrison tried to poke and prod about her breakup with Colton Underwood, she deflected and kept things very vague. She barely said anything at all, yet has been under scrutiny for it.

Moreover, Cassie later took to social media to share that she had talked about a lot more than that during the interview, which production chose to edit out. So, all in all, the interview was a disaster after the fact, and personally, I don’t think Cassie is at fault.

Some are questioning why she bothered going on national television at all knowing the sneaky tactics production loves to pull. And I get that, but so many other Bachelor Nation alums have dropped by, and if she felt like she owed it to them for the platform she now has, what’s wrong with that?

Plus, again, she didn’t say anything about the breakup.

But despite not saying anything at all, Colton Underwood took to social media to call Cassie out for doing the interview, saying “a lot changed this week” in regards to their agreement over the breakup. The lengthy Instagram post was a way to let Cassie know that he isn’t cool with what she did, even though, again, she didn’t really do anything.

Frustrated over Colton’s post, Cassie Randolph took to her Instagram stories to lay it all out there. She broached the topic of how up until now they have both been respectful of their relationship, and his passive-aggressive comments aren’t really honoring that.

While on a roll, she also took the opportunity to call Colton about monetizing off their breakup by adding a chapter in his book about dealing with COVID-19 while recovering at Cassie’s family home. Apparently, he hasn’t really run the chapter by her, and given that it will heavily involve her and her family, she feels that she should be able to get a look at it. Whether or not that’s factual is unknown, but a rep from Colton’s end has stated, “Her accusations are simply not true.”, while speaking with E! News

In any case, Cassie concluded the statement with a request to keep things civil moving forward.

"I can’t control your actions but I sincerely hope we can both move forward in peace. Thanking you in advance. I would prefer this to now be the end of this. I wish you nothing but the best & hope you can move on peacefully and successfully."

How will things go from here? Will things continue to get messy? Or is this the start of the Cassie Randolph and Colton Underwood post-breakup war? Stay tuned, folks.
