Cassie Randolph is pissed with the Bachelor franchise–and we don’t blame her.

Cassie Randolph stopped by The Bachelor: Greatest Seasons Ever this week to what viewers were led to believe was her talking all about her breakup with Colton Underwood. Except that was not at all what she gave the interview about, and it wasn’t even the primary reason.

Taking to her Instagram story, Cassie Randolph slammed the Bachelor franchise for editing the interview in a manner that made it seem like she was there to talk about her breakup. She reveals that the conversation she had with Chris Harrison was a lot more than Colton-centric. In fact, she told them she did not want to talk about the breakup at all.

She didn’t feel ready, and given that she is still working through what happened, it was certainly not a thing she was ready to talk about on national television. That request didn’t stop Chris Harrison from digging his heels into Cassie Randolph’s persistent refusal to reveal anything about her past relationship with Colton Underwood.

"Kay, so I’m a little irritated about a few things right now. Just watched the ‘Bachelor’ interview that aired, and I feel like I’m speaking to no one. I’ve said this a million times, you guys cannot judge something that you know is edited and know nothing about. There was so much more that I talk about in that interview than just our relationship. I went on there telling them that I didn’t want to talk about and I wouldn’t talk about it. We talked about my tattoo, we talked about reminiscing on Trista’s season which was the whole point of going on, we talked about school, believe it or not, there’s so much more to me than just my past relationship, and I think that’s why I’m annoyed. It’s just ridiculous how people can make assumptions on things they know nothing about."

It comes as no surprise that this sort of editing took place. After all, this is the franchise that picks and chooses its villains accordingly. Their editing skills are infamously known to make certain contestants stand out versus others just look plain horrible.

I know this is all for the sake of “entertainment and drama” which you can justify within the context of the show, but what about when it’s a personal interview like this? Is it fair to benefit from someone else’s pain?

There is always a lot of talk about contestants and leads “knowing what they were in for”, but there is a line to be drawn, and I think situations like these are certainly crossing that line. My heart goes out to Cassie Randolph who is trying to work through something which many of us can relate to.

The editing of her interview only adds fuel to the fire given that many internet trolls have been messaging her hateful messages regarding the interview and her breakup with Colton. If you watch the interview with Chris Harrison, you’ll see that whenever asked about Colton, she always opted to give a vague response.

"I think we honestly had a really great relationship the entire time, and we got along really well…It’s a sensitive subject because I feel like we’re still kinda going through it, and it’s still pretty emotional for both of us. We haven’t really talked about it publicly yet and I don’t know if either of us is ready, but I will say it’s been really hard."

It’s a shame that the fans of Bachelor Nation had a wonderful opportunity to hear about Cassie Randolph’s life after being on The Bachelor but didn’t get much of anything. It was a quick two-minute edited interview that didn’t tell us anything, and essentially wasted everyone’s time.

There could have been so much more than what we saw, and the fact that they did discuss school, her new tattoo, and many other things about her life and refused to show that part of the interview is unfortunate.

Sigh, why, Bachelor franchise, why?

Next. Cassie Randolph to spill tea on her recent breakup with Colton Underwood. dark

Anyone else in their annoyed feelings about these editing shenanigans?
