Victoria Paul comments on The Bachelorette’s Blake Moynes’ Instagram after fan ships them together

We’re only one episode into the new season of The Bachelorette with leading lady Clare Crawley, but it looks like the contestants are already making connections with other members of Bachelor Nation—even if just as friends.

An eagle-eyed Redditor recently spotted an interesting Instagram exchange in the comments section of contestant Blake Moynes‘ latest post. If you watched the premiere episode of The Bachelorette season 16, you’ll know that Blake made quite the impression on Clare (right after Dale Moss, of course).

When Blake, 29, got to sit down with Clare ahead of the first rose ceremony, the two clearly hit it off. After they shared a kiss, we all but expected him to receive the first impression rose. Of course, that honor went to Dale, but Blake was the first person to receive a rose during the actual ceremony. So, that counts for something!

The Canadian cutie is a fan-favorite so far, and even a contestant from Peter Weber’s season of The Bachelor hopped into the conversation to add her thoughts on him. As Reddit user darrewinn pointed out, Victoria Paul commented on Blake’s Instagram after a fan shipped them together.

“You and @victorianpaul would be perfect together :((( but if y’all don’t date I’m next in line ok???!!,” one Bachelor fan commented on Blake’s photo, to which Victoria responded, “Mama is Blake’s biggest fan and she said u have good taste in men.” Cute!

While Victoria pretty much turned down the idea of her dating Blake, it was sweet that she said her mom was a fan. We’re now curious to see if any of the men on Clare’s season end up dating previous Bachelor contestants!

Fans will remember Victoria P. as one of the former pageant queens from Peter’s season of The Bachelor. Though she and Peter did hit it off initially, she was eliminated in week 6.

If Bachelor in Paradise ever happens, we wouldn’t be surprised to see Victoria on there. Maybe if Blake doesn’t win Clare (or potentially Tayshia’s!) heart, we’ll be seeing the two of them together on a future season of BiP.
