As we’re inching ever so closely to the premiere date, many of us are curious about the new slate of contestants. Who are they? Where are they from? What do they do? And the list goes on and on. One such contestant that has caught our eyes is Blake Moynes.

Remember when I said that Blake is quite the adventurous fellow? Well, it goes beyond that given he loves and adores the outdoors. In fact, his time at Thompson Rivers University in Kamloops, British Columbia was spent largely in any and all wildlife programs. And so in a very fitting manner, he currently works as a wildlife manager.

Looking through his Instagram, you’ll see that Blake truly does spend most of his time outdoors. He’s either fishing, jetskiing, doing something related to animals, and the sort. Here’s to hoping that Clare loves the outdoors just as much as he does.

After learning a bit more about Blake, I think it’s safe to say he comes off as the gentle giant sort, and seems very loving and caring. I think that will go a far way with Clare, and I can see this guy doing well for himself during the season. I mean, come on, he likes Ninja Turtles and pizza. How cute is that?!
