Last week, The Bachelorette left off with Luke P.’s future hanging by a thread.

The Bachelorette ended on a dramatic note last week as Hannah informed Luke P. that she could not, in fact, give him the rose after their one-on-one. The camera honed in on his dumbfounded face, and that’s exactly where Monday night’s episode picked up.

The bomb had been dropped that I Swear I Have Feelings for More Than God Luke was not receiving his floral ticket to the next round and he could not comprehend what was happening. He literally said multiple times how confused he was by what our Bachelorette was saying. It was like Hannah was talking to a wall, I swear.

Finally, Roll Tide spelled out that yes indeed, it was time for Church Camp Luke to leave the show and GTFO out of her life, and the baffled baboon sauntered out of the Scottish castle and into the night.

But what would a Lukeness Monster moment be without him going completely off the rails?

Almost immediately the enemy of Bachelor Nation decided that he needed to fight for his woman and ran back into the castle to swoop his princess off her feet.

Naturally, Hannah was like WTF is happening as Let Me Love You Luke attempted to show that he had feelings and could be vulnerable by standing across the room and yelling that he was mad about the whole situation.

Somehow this move worked, and a still rose free Luke returned to the rest of the group who were crushed that it was the psycho entering the door and not the mystery suitcase remover that ABC has on staff at all times.

Despite the mass confusion and tensions rising, a new day arrived and it was time to get pretty for the Bachelorette rose ceremony cocktail party.

Our crew gathered for the party and almost immediately there was drama between Golf Pro Garrett and Jesus Luke. Everyone was salty and yelling to the point where Hannah had to interrupt to tell the children to quit bickering. And then it happened AGAIN shortly thereafter.

The Beast was done with this and after lecturing the group once more decided to say screw it and dish out those roses. Garrett was worried but survived the ceremony. Last and least, Drama Luke received a rose yet again and everyone maintained their perpetual eye rolling faces while picking their jaws up off the ground.

The Bachelorette: No, not Jed Wyatt, anyone but Jed Wyatt!. dark. Next

After a speech about moving forward by Miss Alabama, the group flew off to Latvia where we were immediately thrust into a meeting of Hannah and Chris Harrison where she contemplated quitting this journey completely.

Then all of a sudden, we were back at the Bachelor Mansion and Chris was sitting by the fire with Roll Tide discussing her struggles. This lead to the most unnecessary, boring 45 minutes of Bachelorette content in history as we watched a literal recap of everything we have seen in the last 5 episodes. ABC producers, WTF are you doing? No one wanted this and to be honest, we deserve better.

Thankfully, this mess ended with Hannah saying she’s not a quitter and we got previews of more real episodes to come. Why we needed this waste of time I will never know.

Nonetheless, we’ll see you Monday night for more real, drama-filled love content. Fingers crossed!
