Lauren Bushnell recently announced that she’s single again. It didn’t take long for her ex, former Bachelor Ben Higgins, to weigh in on Lauren’s breakup.
More than a year has passed since former Bachelor star Ben Higgins and Lauren Bushnell ended their engagement. Shortly after their split, Lauren moved to Los Angeles and started dating Devin Anton.
Earlier this week, Lauren announced that she is no longer dating Devin, just four months after she told Access Hollywood that she was “ready to tie the knot.” Now, Ben is sharing his thoughts about Lauren’s new relationship status.

In May 2017, Lauren and Ben issued a statement about their breakup, stating that they “remain friends with much love and respect for one another.”
Lauren quickly moved out of Ben’s Colorado home and headed back to L.A. It didn’t take long for her Instagram to become a showcase of cute couple photos of Lauren and Devin.
Once she confirmed their relationship, she told Access Hollywood she met Devin on Tinder before she went on Ben’s season and they reconnected in L.A. after her relationship with Ben ended.
Lauren announces split, Ben reacts
Bachelor fans noticed in early August that Lauren was no longer posting pictures of Devin.
Apparently, they unfollowed each other on social media, although we’re not sure who ended the relationship.
Now that Lauren is single again, some fans are wondering if she’ll get back together with Ben. That doesn’t seem likely, considering she recently told Reality Steve she didn’t think they were compatible.
Us Weekly recently spoke to Ben about Lauren’s recent breakup — he had this to say …
“You start to celebrate her new life, then that ends, and I’m a weird place, like what do I do now?” It’s so cliché to say I want her happy — I just want Lauren to feel fulfilled, joyful and to be celebrated. I know these times in life. I haven’t had to go through it in the last year and a half, but when breakups happen, it’s really raw and hard. So I just hope whatever happens, she can recover with grace. She will. She’ll do alright.”
There have been rumors that Ben may get a re-do as the next Bachelor, with host Chris Harrison cheering on the possibility. But, Chris is also a big fan of Jason Tartick, so time will tell who ABC picks to hand out roses in January.
