Blake Hortsmann is one of Bachelorette Becca Kufrin’s frontrunners. Will his future plans take him out of the running for the final rose?

The Bachelorette Becca Kufrin has confirmed she is engaged, but we won’t find out who she picked until the finale airs on August 6. However, she dropped a major hint in an interview with Us Weekly that has us wondering if Blake’s future plans for a big family may cost him the final rose.

Of course, it depends on what you consider a “big” family, but here’s what Becca had to say.

Two weeks ago, Blake talked to Becca about having kids in the future. He wanted to know how many children she wants to have.

Blake made it clear he wanted a bunch of children (we think he said “five”), but that may not line up with what Becca has in mind.

During a recent interview with Us Weekly, Becca talked about having a family. She wants to start out slow and just have one, but she’d like to have four dogs. Hmm…

Becca, Blake wants five kids!! C’mon girl, you can do it! And — as far as we know — he doesn’t click on controversial posts on Instagram. But, I digress.

“I want to start with one [kid] and see how that goes,” Becca told Us Weekly. “I grew up with just the two of us, my sister and I, and so that’s what I’m used to.”

So, we’re thinking that’s her way of hinting that she doesn’t pick Blake, but it can’t possibly be because she doesn’t want five kids. (Okay, we’re overthinking things!!)

In fact, she did tell Us Weekly if all went well, she would be open to having “some kids running around in the next 10 years.”

“Some” is more than one – but is it less than five? It’s all about compromise. And we really like Blake.

Hopefully, Becca will make the right decision when she hands out her final rose. If not, maybe we’ll see Blake handing out roses as the next Bachelor.
