Lauren Burnham’s new job has Bachelor fans buzzing

It didn’t take long for Lauren Burnham to snag a new job after moving into Bachelor Arie Luyendyk’s Arizona home.

Lauren Burnham was described as a “tech salesperson” in her Bachelor bio, but she ditched her job when she went looking for love on The Bachelor last year.

Now she’s living with her fiancé, Arie Luyendyk, Jr and has settled into a new job. And no, she’s not selling Fit Tea or Fab Fit Fun boxes on Instagram. Instead, she’s following in Arie’s footsteps and working in real estate.

Although Arie was known as a “race car driver” during his season of The Bachelor, he currently works as a real estate agent in Arizona. Now his future wife is joining the biz.

“Showing houses and taking names,” Lauren captioned a selfie on her Instagram story last month.

I’m going to guess Lauren doesn’t have her real estate license yet. Perhaps she’s starting her new career showing homes for Arie.

Lauren has only been in Arizona for about a month, certainly not enough time to get her real estate license. According to the Arizona Department of Real Estate, you must complete “90 hours of in-classroom Real Estate Broker pre-licensing education and pass the examination” before you can start selling real estate.

Bachelor Nation speaks out

Shortly after Lauren posted the image above on her Instagram story, reaction from fans started popping up on a Bachelor-related Reddit thread. Not everyone was on board with Lauren’s new job.

“Lauren is whatever Arie is,” Reddit user saRAWRjo wrote.

“I think this is the perfect comment,” Reddit user backwardsplanning replied. “It is also why I think they’ll last at least a while. She’s the kind of girl that becomes whoever her boyfriend is or what he needs her to be. She’s that one friend you have that disappears into her relationship and you don’t see her until they break up.

Ouch.
