Did Bachelor in Paradise couple Taylor and Derek break off their engagement?

Derek Peth and Taylor Nolan got engaged on the Bachelor in Paradise finale last September. Now there’s word that their relationship may be on the rocks.

Last summer, Derek and Taylor met while filming Bachelor in Paradise and almost immediately became one of the show’s power couples. They didn’t get engaged on the show, but Derek did pop the question on the live after-show that aired on September 11.

Derek and Taylor have been maintaining a long distance relationship since the show wrapped up, sharing cute couple pics on social media when they are together. However, some savvy fans recently noticed that there may be trouble in Paradise — especially after Taylor was spotted at a club without her ring on.

Taylor parties in Vegas without Derek

Last month, Taylor told Life & Style that things are going well for the couple, but they have not discussed wedding plans. She says she “totally see a future with him” and they are learning to “handle the challenges that come up” in their relationship.

Since then, some fans have been questioning the status of Taylor and Derek’s relationship. In mid-March, a person on Reddit stated they saw Taylor out at a Las Vegas nightclub without her engagement ring on.

No big deal, right? Sure! Except for the part where she supposedly gave her number out to a single guy. Hmm…

Apparently, it wasn’t just the missing ring that tipped them off that there could be trouble in Paradise. The Redditor who made the comment said Taylor was flirting with one of their single guy friends and gave out her number.

“On Friday night she gave her number to a guy friend of mine and then came to our table at the club last night. None of us let on that we knew she was on the show and she never mentioned it. She and her friends (they were there for Derek’s sister’s bachelorette party) sat at our table all night last night and then when we were going to the Zedd show, she blew us all off and got friendly with a guy who had a table inside. She never once mentioned she was engaged either night we saw her.”

Considering Taylor was with Derek’s sister, we highly doubt they broke up.

And maybe she left her ring at home for safe keeping.

As for giving her number out, it’s perfectly okay to have male friends.

Still, the gossip is pretty juicy.

We shall see how Taylor’s relationship with Derek plays out. It can’t be easy living on opposite coasts!
