Nick Viall focused on acting career, won’t return to Bachelor franchise
By Ruby Maxwell
Former Bachelor star Nick Viall is totally focused on his acting career and is done trying to find love on TV.
Nick Viall didn’t find love on the Bachelorette (twice) or Bachelor in Paradise. He did get engaged on his season of the Bachelor, but his relationship with Vanessa Grimaldi fizzled out just a few months after the finale.
Although he was rumored to be dating actress January Jones (he’s not), it appears Nick has found a new love — acting. It’s something he’s passionate about and, hopefully, it will work out better than his Bachelor franchise relationships.
During a recent interview with Entertainment Tonight, Nick said he’s not done with dating, but he’s definitely done with the Bachelor. And it sounds like he’s not in any rush to find “the one” — he’s busy pursuing acting gigs.
Nick says he wants to date someone who makes him “a better person” and “puts up” with him. He went on to say that his time as a Bachelor franchise cast member is “done.”

He also confirmed that he’s “just friends” with January Jones – they are not dating.
After his stint as The Bachelor, Nick started taking acting classes.
Since then, he’s made some headway into the acting world, although they were small parts. But, it’s a start.
He made a guest appearance in a Speechless episode and had a small role in the made-for-TV movie, A Christmas Cruise.
Nick tells Entertainment Tonight that he also “got to do a quick cameo on Family Guy” and had a guest star role on Teachers.
“I’m working really hard, taking it very seriously, and I’m very lucky to have a lot of people giving me really good advice and looking out for me. So I’m thankful and we’ll see how it goes,” Nick said. “[I am] very thankful that people in this industry and people in the casting world have at least opened the door for me and given me a chance.”
