Three weeks after the Bachelor Winter Games finale aired on ABC, contestants Ashley Iaconetti and Kevin Wendt called it quits.

During last month’s Bachelor Winter Games finale, Ashley and Kevin confirmed they were still together. Now that the media hype about the spinoff is over, so is their relationship.

None of this should come as a big surprise — Bachelor couples come and go all the time. But the big question is, what’s next for Ashley and Kevin? Will he become the next Bachelor Canada? Will they both show up in Paradise this summer? Here’s the scoop!

Although Ashley and Kevin haven’t mentioned their split on their own social media accounts, Ashley told Entertainment Tonight earlier this week they are no longer dating.

Apparently, the long distance thing wasn’t working for them, as explained in Ashley’s “Almost Famous” podcast (scroll down to listen to the podcast.)

Around the time of the finale, Kevin was staying with Ashley in Los Angeles.

Although they shared some cute couple photos on Instagram after the finale aired, it wasn’t long before Kevin was back in Canada.

Before the finale aired, there was talk about Ashley losing her virginity to Kevin, so it’s odd to see her so un-phased by the breakup. Or she’s saving her tears and regrets for the upcoming season of Bachelor in Paradise.

During their on-stage chat with Chris Harrison during the Bachelor Winter Games World Tells All, Ashley said she wanted to (finally) keep that topic private — it’s a topic that shouldn’t have been front and center during the Bachelor (Chris Soules) and when she was on Bachelor in Paradise. But, who knows —producers have a way of exploiting just about everyone for ratings.

Speaking of Paradise…

Will Ashley and Kevin show up on Bachelor in Paradise this summer? Or will Kevin try to snag the Bachelor Canada gig?

Months ago, Reality Steve hinted that Kevin wasn’t interested in finding love on the Bachelor Winter Games. Kevin won the final rose on the first season Bachelorette Canada, so…

“It’s been reported to me that Kevin’s sole intention of doing this show was to be the next Bachelor Canada, Steve wrote. “And if not that, he just wants fame, he wants notoriety, and he was strictly looking to hook up with whatever girl in the house would garner him the most attention.”

He’s already jumping on the Instagram product endorsement train, if that means anything.

As for Paradise, fans can expect to see contestants from around the world on the upcoming season. If Kevin doesn’t score the Bachelor Canada gig, it won’t be a shocker to see him show up in Paradise.

As for Ashley, we shall see. Perhaps producers will also cast Jared Haibon, Ashley’s former love interest/friend. Would that be called an ex-triangle?

Before Paradise begins this summer, we’ll get a look at some of the other guys who may get a second shot at finding love (or fame) — Becca Kufrin‘s season of The Bachelorette begins May 28. Expect to see a number of her rejected suitors on Bachelor in Paradise, along with some contestants from the Winter Games and Arie’s season of The Bachelor.
