Krystal Nielson is quickly turning into this season’s villain, but Bachelor Arie doesn’t mind that she’s aggressive in her pursuit of the final rose.

Krystal met Bachelor Arie Luyendyk Jr’s parents on her first one-on-one date. From that point on, she’s made it clear she is not on the show to make friends.

The 29-year-old fitness coach has been stealing Arie away every chance she gets, but the Bachelor star admits that he’s flattered Krystal is so “aggressive” when it comes to pursuing him.

Although Arie states that he didn’t get to see what transpired when he wasn’t around the girls, he revealed in his People blog that he “sensed some tension amongst them.” Now that he is watching the season unfold, it became obvious that it was Krystal who was “rubbing the women the wrong way.”

However, he wasn’t put off by her actions. Instead, he says Krystal “truly put our relationship first” by being more “aggressive in her approach.”

Krystal definitely has her eye on the prize, but her actions going forward may make Arie think twice about moving forward with her.

How far does Krystal make it with Arie?

Warning – spoilers ahead

Arie and 15 remaining girls head to Lake Tahoe on Episode 4 (January 22). Krystal doesn’t get a one-on-one, but that won’t stop her from trying to spend as much time as she can with Arie during a group date.

Unfortunately for Krystal, things don’t go her way during the group date after party. According to Reality Steve, she “kinda loses her mind because Arie is giving attention to other women.”

Despite her meltdown, Arie doesn’t send Krystal home during the Week 4 rose ceremony. Maybe he was so busy kissing other girls (ahem, Bekah) that he didn’t notice her flipping out.

Krystal avoids elimination, but isn’t quite so lucky the following week. On Episode 5 (January 29), Arie and the girls who remain travel to Florida for more dates and eliminations.

Krystal doesn’t get a one-on-one, and she isn’t part of a group date, either. Instead, she is picked to go on the dreaded 2-on-1 date with contestant Krystal Nielson.

Apparently, Krystal mentions Peter Krauss during the date and things go downhill from there. Peter was the runner-up on Bachelorette Rachel’s season just in case you’re a newbie to the Bachelor franchise.

The 2-on-1 dates are never about romance. It’s basically a few minutes of conversation followed by an “I’m sorry, I don’t see a future with you,” and non-stop crying.

We won’t know until the episode airs if Krystal has a total breakdown, but she is the girl Arie sends home during the 2-on-1 date.  And it all makes perfect sense. According to one of Arie’s ex-girlfriends, the race car driver doesn’t react well to crying or conflict. And while he admitted that he was flattered that Krystal was aggressively pursuing him, the meltdown and tears may have been his breaking point.
